1. We might consider booting the odd Notable off the Notable list. But I'm not sure if it would be by democratic vote, as that would be very catty. A bit like Big Brother.
2. We might consider an interim status between the current range and banned. I favour "learner" for the status tag and pink for the name colour to warn of danger. We could call them "pinkies".
Changes would appear to be necessary to improve the written content.

Pinkies are a good idea, but im not sure about the notable thing. I reckon (almost) all of the notables deserve to be there. They have won respective elections (apart from the odd few). Whilst the number of notables will continue to grow, the winner will be the champion of the forums at that moment in time, and also deserve to be notable. Now if the worry is that crap posters are elected notable, why dont you employ a system whereby a minimum number of votes must be acheived for the promotion, and not just the candidate with most votes on the day.
