Here a question.

How long do people think the N64 has left to live?

With games like Perfect Dark, Zelda: The Continuing Sage, Turok 3, A Resident Evil game, Top Gear Rally 2, and a bunch of other wicked games this year. How long will the N64 live for? Specially with the PS2 and Dolphin on the horizon how much longer can the N64 last?

I for one would love to see donkey kong going back to it's roots.
Maybe not the 2D dodgy platformer, but hunting down and beating seven shades of ship out of mario would be fantastic. super smash brothers was a step in the right direction, as was attacking mario's face at the start of mario 64, but what I really want is a game devoted to making someone quite buff flatten the tubby little sod.

As well as mario, I'd like to have games allowing me to trash;

-Macauly Culkin
-Leonardo Di Caprio
-Joe Pesqualli
-Dale Winton
-Jerry Sienfeld
-The bald guy from the Norm Show
-Every terestrial news reader except David Braine
-Phil Neville
-The sign language person on 'Trisha' on the late night showing who stops you reading all the text on the screen
-LFO
-Faith Hill (except when performing the really good dance remix of 'this kiss')
-William Shatner
-David Jason
-Eddie Jordan
-Mrs Pritchard
-John Parrot
-The guy who was Joe Mangle in neighbours
-Steps
-Courtney Cox
-Prince William
-Rolf Harris (unless to be inflated and used to light the olympic flame instead of the big robot on that dodgy comedian's olympics show last night)
-Posh Spice
-Westlife
-Whoever won't show 'Players' in my ITV region (if it's in yours (manday nites), you really should watch it
-Prince/The artist (formerly known as)/The symbol
-The cast of Savannah
-David S(ch)wimmer
-Anne Hesh
-Mandy Moore
-Planet Pop's replacement Lauren Laverne
-David Mellor
-Gary Barlow
-The Likely Lads
-Your face

Also Sony didn't make any of those games! They didn't take any time in developing either! The actuall developers were A.N.Other(I can't rem) but still that's not the point!

On the Greystation for every 3D game that's released at least 10 2D games are released and that's a fact!

That would be great! NOM have said that they are hoping for a Matrix game to be released on a Nintendo console in the future!

When will someone snap up the matrix licence for a game? I can think of some amazing scenes that must be re-cerated for the GC, like the gouvernment lobby scene and all the combat training. It should be a bit like Deus Ex for the P.C where you have to have conversations with people to get anywhere. Also, you could choose different characters for different things, like you could be morpheous and try not to give anything away when you are interrigated by Agent Smith and co. You could be Trinity of Neo for action scenes like when the go to save morpheous and when trinity is in the matrix at the start. On top of that you could be the ship's crew and kill of the machines that inhabit the earth.
This would be a great game and I think that Rare could make it best, and if not for N64, Maybe for Gamecube??

I thought of a beauty of a game. You have to set out to capture bad guys and kill them in the most brutal way possible. Think about it, real people in the game like margeret thatcher or tony blair eg oy! you ! mr prime minister! I saw you snap that twig off my bush! dont give me none of your rubbish! KERRUNCH!!! Problem sorted. It would be fun to give back to the world what it deserves. 'raise my tax would you*£%!?$ die!!! chop, chop, chop( I am too young to pay taxs but I share your grief, less money for you ,less money for me to put in my pocket)I would find this fun as you could get together dale winton, julian clary, kenan and kel(their program really sucks)and gun them down.A great game in my opinion as you could kill the queen in the most hideous way possible(im only joking id spare the queen........maybe)A game just bursting to be made. Why deny its production?

maybe he just thought it'd be nice to put these up for everyone to find as a point of easy reference. I'm sure he didn't seriously expect a prize for it.

I am with you mewsli, the greatest game series ever made were the Dizzy games. Who would have ever thought that wearing a raincoat would have stopped it from raining?
Why did Codies drop him though, I reckon they would sell eggsellently (good god...) if they made a 3d Dizzy. Imagine that!

I do agree that Nintendo isn't all about great graphics and sound, and is all about great games like DigDug and Super Mario Brothers, but there is a time to move to another component of video gaming. We have just about perfected 2D gameplay, so now we are working on making great games out of 3D engines. I believe that with time there will be great games, and great graphics in the same games. A believe that Nintendo titles are much better than playstation, or sega titles. And besides, if life give ya lemons, make lemonade. Life gives Nintendo great technology, what do you expect them to do?
