Here a question.

How long do people think the N64 has left to live?

With games like Perfect Dark, Zelda: The Continuing Sage, Turok 3, A Resident Evil game, Top Gear Rally 2, and a bunch of other wicked games this year. How long will the N64 live for? Specially with the PS2 and Dolphin on the horizon how much longer can the N64 last?

No, not all of it is true. You want multiplayer games of all types, here we go: Gran Turismo 1 and 2, Syphon Filter 2, Crash Team Racing, WWF:Smackdown, WWF:Attitude, FIFA 96, 97, 98 99 AND 2000, Actua Soccer 1,2,3, Formula 1 97,98,99 and F1 2000, Tekken 1,2,3, Star Wars Jedi Power Battles, Brian Lara Cricket, Premier Manager 1 and 2, Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Worms Armageddon and so on, god there are so many!!!! You want good shooting games?? Here we go:
Metal Gear Solid, Syphon Filter 1 and 2, Tomorrow Never Dies, Quake 1,2 and 3, In Cold Blood, Die Hard Trilogy, Medal Of Honour, Resident Evil 1,2 and 3 and there are lots more!!!!
I'M NOT SAD ENOUGH TO LOOK REALLY CLOSELY AT THE SCREEN TRYING TO FIND SQUARES!!!! The controller is perfectly fine, too many button gets confusing and I find N64 controllers a little annoying. I don't see any difference with the colour, AGES TO LOAD??? Okay, maybe Brian Lara Cricket and In Cold Blood, but games like MGS, GT2 hardly take any time at all, so I suppose that the 1st level on Goldeneye is p*ss easy the, is it???
I'm not being biased, I'M TELLING THE TRUTH!!! PLEASE DON'T INSULT ME!!!!
Thanks for reading, Ant.

One year ago I bought Pokemon red for my game boy to kill time
while by grandmother was working and wound up doing nothing but
playing that all through by spring break it's that additive. Later I
gave red to my little brother and I got yellow and blue. When I
heard that Pokemon Stadium was coming out for the Nintendo
64 and all the Pokemon and could battle in 3d using the transfer
pack I went out and got it. and man did i get rehooked instantly.
I mean who doesn't wanted to see what a Mewtwo looks like before
opening a can of whoop butt on an opponent.

Graphics 10 out of 10

Pokemon stadium offers that all 151 Pokemon can battle now in
full 3d well it delivers on that problem the frame rate is good and
all the Pokemon powers look really good (my favorite our night
shade and psychic also self destruct looks pretty cool). the
backgrounds look pretty blurry but each stadium and gym you fight in
look different and that's OK because your Pokemon now stand out better.
My only complaint is that the Pokemon never touch each in battle.
For example if you tackel your Pokemon will lounge forward then you
see the opponent Pokemon step back form the tackle. oh well it all
can't be perfect I guess. One other nice things is that you can now
see the pokedex in 3d.

Music and Sound 6 out of 10

Eek so the graphics are great but the sound could have used a bunch
of improvement. First the music remember the annoying battle music
it played on the game boy. well that basically what plays in the
background of most of the battles. Next come in the annoying announcer
that keeps saying the same thing until they get older then my Atari
2600. here is another small complaint is that they didn't have all
the voices from the cartoon series and instead that they put the
cries from the game boy game in there. that the bad news the good
news is that Nintendo did a good job of updating the sounds form the
Nintendo 64 so when you choose Chaizard it doesn't do a really good sound
instead it sounds like it is rouring. But I still don't understand why
the didn't put ekans, drozee, magikarp, clefairy, and Pikachu
voices in the battle when they have then in the minni games at
the kid's club. On the plus side the sounds the Pokemon make
when they do moves are totally cool.

Game Challenge 10 out of 10

So you think because you can cream the eleite four in the game
boy game that you can take them on the Nintendo 64 think again. When
you battle in the gym leader castle. Everybody's Pokemon is at
the same level has the strongest of your Pokemon. so the strategy
there is not to make sure that you bring a level 100 Pokemon and a
bunch of wimps and let the level 100 do the job but to bring Pokemon
of different types with the same level. (In other words it is better
to bring 6 level 25 Pokemon then a level 70 Mewtwo with a bunch of
level 25 Pokemon.) and that is just the game leader castle. now in
the actual stadium mode the game is harder cause you can only
pick three Pokemon in four stadiums and each stadium has a total
of four cups plus extra you can unlock once you get all of them.
each stadium also has special rules that you have to follow in one
of them all the computers levels are at 100. Strategy will be the key
on these rather then bring in buffed up Pokemon. (Note in most
there are level restrictions so you have to make sure you also bring
types to). This game is easier with red and blue in the game boy game
also because then you can do the 150 items trick with rare candy
and tms that way you can make sure that your Pokemon will have
tough moves when you can only use level 15 Pokemon.

Game Play-Fun 10 out of 10

This game is just has fun has the game boy. You can play the game
boy game in game boy tower so there the fun of that. Then you also
get to see the Pokemon battle in all the other modes also unlock
secrets and win Pokemon like, Charmader, Bulbasaur, Squritle,
Hitmonchan, Kabuto and Kabutops, plus others. that the
fun part another fun part is to see the maps in every thing in
professor oaks office in 3d. It's is also fun to have the Pokemon
you raise in your game boy fight for you in stadium. But if you don't
have a Game Boy game pack then you have to use rentals which don't
have really powerful moves and the prizes they give you will mean
nothing so that score drops to a five without a game pack. But if
you don't have a Pokemon Game Boy game it only costs 30 bucks
it you can play the actual game through the transfer pack in the
game by going to Game Boy tower.

Rumble Pak 10 out of 10

This game doesn't work the rumble pack so instead change rumble
to transfer pack. The transfer pack is cool it lets you play and use
all your Pokemon on your game boy. It also lets you organize your
PC and your party and also lets you store Pokemon on your game
boy.

Frustration

Just because one mode says it is just for beginning type Pokemon
15-20 doesn't mean it is easy. You have level 15 type Pokemon
whopping your but with psychic and other attacks. and the fact
that you cannot use all of your Pokemon at once and sometimes
the computer uses this to it's advantage when you can only choose
three types of Pokemon and he has six to choose from sometimes
you get your butt woop by the trainer other times you win without
getting a hit but on you.

Replayability 8 out of 10

I haven't play the game all the way through but each battle i have
fought is different in the game is challenging so expect at least a
weak of non-stop playing before you even start unlocking stuff
besides the gym leader castles special Pokemon prizes (Note I
mean a nonstop playing has only stopping to eat sleep and going
to the bathroom)

Game Value 10 out of 10

This game is definitely worth the £49 price I payed but if you don't own the game boy game it is just like Pokemon snap it will probably get boring after a while. but I would still pay £65 to pay both the game boy game and this game. There both fun has is but there
are both funnier if you both of them.

Overall 9.9 out of 10

A fun game and is worth the price it will also help you catch 150
Pokemon by giving you Pokemon in places where you have a choice
of one only, example Squirtle, Chamander, Bulbasaur, and others).

Pokemon Stadium is well worth the price that you pay for it whatever you pay, and it will keep you going until christmas 2001.

Well... you see, I have a lot of favourite games. Dizzy(spectrum), Jedi Knight:Dark Forces II, Alone in the Dark 2+3, Curse of Monkey Island, Goldeneye and Super Mario Kart(snes) will always be a classic.

I think I'm leaning towards Conker's, but I'm not sure yet.

So, there are 5 big potential christmas must buys to keep the average N64 owner from opening any other presents, playing in the snow or watching the Queen's annual rant;

Conker's BFD
Dino Planet
Zelda - Majora's
TWINEnough
Banjo Tooie

at an outside bet you could also consider;
Mario Party 2
and
Mario Tennis
as contenders to the stocking

So, what will you be hoping a fat guy with no razor trades for alcohol and mince pies come late december?

Have I missed anything?

Do the guys in fancy dress prey for good weather so the yule tide football fixtures go ahead and the infinitely more qualified soccer mascots are too busy being banned from the sidelines by FIFA's new mascot conduct guidelines to compete for red suits?

Do the poor saps who dress up as elves ever get promoted to playing the big guy, or are their weight classes like boxing that dictate their job opourtunities?

Any answers to those questions would be gladly considered, but mainly what will you be getting come christmas?

Zelda - Majora's Mask is to see the little elf reliving the same 3 days over and over, like he thinks he's Bill Murray, huh. Good idea? Well, new idea.

To it's advantage, you'll be able to gain greater insight to the characters etc, in that you'll be able to see them at evey moment of their 3 days after a few cycles, and it's a great way to introduce a new level of puzzle into the game.

On the down side, only major achievements will be carried over from one 3 day cycle to the next, so the deja-vu/repetetiveness could be a serious irritation.
Also, if you over-run a little, missing the deadline of the 3rd day, you'll have to start whatever you were trying to do all over again, which has the potential to be VERY frustrating, and if you seriously go wrong you will have to wait for the next 3 day cycle to start (which in total lasts one hour in real time), before you can try again. Hopefully though, the pixie-like kid will have something like a suicide pill, so he can top himself, only to be wrenched back into life 3 days ago (start of the next cycle).

Back to Bill Murray, have you seen the trailer for Charlie's Angles? (Billy is Charlie) Cameron Diaz and Drew Barrymore look ROUGH man. And Ling from Ally McBeal(/Coist) isn't exactly up to carrying the whole film's sex appeal

I Just went out and bought this game about a week ago and it rocks, I know, your probably moaning at the prospect of another Castlevania title when the first didn't bring people rushing to buy it. There were only two directions to go with this game, a warmed-over rehash of the original, or a game that improved what was right and cut out what didn't work for the first one. Well, fortunately Konami didn't just choose to "up" the score--they chose "way up."
In Castlevania: Legacy of Darkness, Carrie and Reinhardt return, but the main part of this game centers on Cornell, a character that didn't quite make the final edit in the rush to get Castlevania 64 onto the market. Cornell's actions take place eight years before Reinhardt and Carrie's grand fight with Dracula; he must rescue his kidnaped sister from the hands of darkness and put a stop to Dracula forever. The storyline is really cool, where your see the story unfold from multiple perspectives, and at the end all timelines come together into one stunning climax.

Cornell, I feel, is just about the best character that the series has and after playing this game, I wished he wouldn't have been cut from the original, he would have helped immensely. If Cornell has an enough crystals, he can become a werewolf. In werewolf mode, Cornell is a juggernaut that makes his opponets wish that they were back in their graves. This makes this game that much more exciting and this is just what was needed for Castlevania: Legacy of Darkness.

Most of the levels come from the first game, but since this game is before the other, the areas look newer. With that little boost from the Expansion Pak, things look better than ever. The graphics are crisp and sharp and a lot more colorful than before. Unfortunately, a great deal of the textures are a little muddy, which is a bit of a problem.

The story line reveals itself as you progress to the beginning of the first game. At first, you can only control Cornell. Once you unlock Carrie and Reinhardt, though, you can partake in their side of the story. These adventures may take place in several similar locations, but there are plenty of new enemies, bosses and secret areas to keep people who beat the original interested in the newest entry in the series. Control was a major issue before, and huge steps have were taken to fix a great deal of the frustration that the gamers experienced in the first game. Character control has been cleaned up considerably, Cornell uses a nice long-range force attack that is easy to unleash with the battle system. The auto lock-on isn't quite as slick as the one used in Zelda, but it's a lot better that the previous one. Carrie and Reinhardt also control much better, and landing blows with Reinhardt's whip can be done without a second thought. Henry the knight, the fourth character in this adventure (incidentally, he's armed with a gun), also controls well, and his adventure is fairly entertaining, too.

The entire game feels a lot smoother than the original, with dramatic angles highlighting specific action sequences, like the first boss encounter with a gigantic sea monster. Plenty of cinema scenes push the story along, but they never feel frivolous; they dispense clues, hints and great story information, and unlike other games, you'll rarely want to press the start button and blow right by them. A good horror game must have good audio--period. The horror genre relies on aural accents to heighten suspense and augment chills. Legacy of Darkness does not disappoint in this category; the music tracks are appropriately haunting, and the sound effects hit home when they need to. You can hear you whip connect, the monsters scream, and various other things in great detail.

Sadly, I must to point out that if you've completed the first game, Legacy of Darkness isn't an entirely new adventure. However, Konami offers enough new material, like Cornell's fascinating pursuit of Dracula and the great new graphics and control, to bring those players back to the 64-bit Castlevania group.

If you didn't try the first N64 Castlevania, skip it and head straight for this prequel. It absolutely kills the previous one in every category. It's everything the first game could have been and then some. Legacy of Darkness is a rock-solid effort that deserves to be in the library of any self-respecting adventure fan.

Yes, it's a rail shooter (you're constantly forced forward, you just have to shoot, but the people who dubbed it as such also called Lylat Wars a rail shooter. If it had all the freedom of movement of LW, I'd still consider it. However, if it resembled that mega drive game where you sat on a hover bike thing and shot donuts, they'd be better giving it up right now.

Also, it looks like despite the name there'll be no S&M!
