Here a question.

How long do people think the N64 has left to live?

With games like Perfect Dark, Zelda: The Continuing Sage, Turok 3, A Resident Evil game, Top Gear Rally 2, and a bunch of other wicked games this year. How long will the N64 live for? Specially with the PS2 and Dolphin on the horizon how much longer can the N64 last?

The N64 controller is the best controller by far(even on the Gamecube). The analogue is easy to use, and all the buttons are in easy to use places. If anyone disagrees, I'd like to hear a good example!

The dreamcast is by no means perfect, but then it is not at all a bad console as it has plenty of excellent games (soul calibour, Half-life, crazy taxi) so stop putting it down or i might just have to kill you.

I couldn't agree more, the PSX is really over-rated in every way possible. Some people say that PSX has the best racing games, then have a look at the likes of mario kart, world driver, f-zero x and you can see why racing fans quite often choose N64. Okay, I will hand it to PSX that they have the better beat-em-ups, but then look at soul calibour for DC. The N64 console is a heck of a lot more powerful than the PSX, and it has some of the greatest games ever made: Mario 64, Ocarina of time, Goldeneye, Perfect dark, mario kart.... the list is endless. and when people say: "the N64's games are too soft, colourful and cute" that really annoys me as perfect dark (which recieved an 18 rating) is one of the most gory, blood soaked games ever. Also, the N64 is designed as 'a family machine' as it has games for any given type of person; from hardcore shooter fans to younger people who like mario and stuff.

PS are slower far more chunky, and have far more unoriginal games and ideas than old Nintendo. PSone? What the hell? Portable? Fat chance of that happening - just buy GBC. For the best and funnest games buy an N64 - And there are plenty of adult or older games on it - Carmageddon, Body Harvest, Perfect Dark, the Turok series, even Goldeneye, and games like Shadowman. And soon, Eternal Darkness, Resident Evil: Zero (Only Nintendoe - HA!) and many more. I like some games on PS, but can't people see any sense?

Nintendo fans diss Sony like they did Sega and vice-versa, its not neccesarily because one console is crap but just rivarly, if i say i support Man United and you support Chealsea, Aresnal or another team i would expect to get dissed. I've owned a N64 swawped for a Playstation, PC's are generally more appealing to me and since then i've never used the Playstation, as for overall consoles..
GameCube >> X-Box >> PS2 >> Dreamcast >> Playstation >> N64 >> Saturn (All Next-gen consoles covered there i think) The GameCube in my opinon comes tops because altho X-box has faster cpu i think Nintendo will have more support, and Sony fans quit sticking up for the PS2, the Cube/X-Box will be better by default as they were released later, and of course as Sony are finalising release of the PS2 they are working on the PS3, details released in about 2 years time and the cycle continues. Sega aren't dead yet because of the flop that was Saturn (expensive games that were bettered by Sony etc) the DreamCast was purely released to bring Sega some money in i think Sega lost about £100 million on the Saturn? watch for Sega's next console. As for advertising, that is nothing Sony have money to burn - from their other subsidary companies as to microsoft ($100 billion in bank account) Nintendo rely on their games quality not adverts so much who cares if the Sony advert is cool? you'd rather play the game would you not? and Nintendo do advertise when they NEED to - when it is neccesary, Sony wil advertise left right and centre - tehy can afford to - CD's, HiFi's, TV's, all the other industries they are in, what it comes down to is expertise - Sega and Nintendo have this, and right from the word go Nintendo have won out, Microsoft is very stiff opposition, and Sony have showed how they can perform, i'll leave you gentlemen to make up your minds.

Snowboarding games. HA! Why the $@#% would anybody buy a snowboarding game, let alone MAKE it? Heh heh heh. Games made after sports are stupid. What's next? Virtual cheerleading? Super bobsled racing? For goodness sake.
