Here a question.

How long do people think the N64 has left to live?

With games like Perfect Dark, Zelda: The Continuing Sage, Turok 3, A Resident Evil game, Top Gear Rally 2, and a bunch of other wicked games this year. How long will the N64 live for? Specially with the PS2 and Dolphin on the horizon how much longer can the N64 last?

Special Reserve say No Mercy is out on the 1st Nov, but THQ say its out on the 17th Nov in the US and 1st Dec in the UK... who is right?

I agree with Tim, the dreamcast is a very underestimated system, (Unlike another system, who's catchphrase is along those lines...)

I now have decided to bacome one who doesn't feel too strongly for any game console or company. Nintendo may be the best gaming company in the business, and Sega is the worst, but I have decided to become a flexible and less pickey individual. No more dissing Playstation and talking about how great Nintendo is for me. I'm getting it all. Is it peer pressure from all my Playstation owning friends? I don't know. I just feel like changing into a better person. A Nintendo forum evaluater you might call me. Good bye Edgy, Grix_Thraves, and all those other Playstation dissing individual. You may call me a traitor or a weakling or whatever you wish. I don't care anymore. But don't give up. I support your feelings. Long live Nintendo, but sometimes there has to be someone with the initiative to try something different. Forgive me please. But remember Edgy, you are their leader. Never give up...

Everybody just calm down. Calm. Calm. Especially you Matt. You seem to have a problem interacting with other people. Ant's view is just as valid as yours, and much more sensible. As for the main debate, I own both a PS and N64. I find that for a short game, I choose the PS but if I want long-term quality play the N64 wins out. I feel sorry for stubborn PS owners who will never play the greatest four games of all time on any console: Zelda 64, Mario 64, Goldeneye and (God be praised) Perfect Dark. These are always the top for games in all gaming polls (e.g. Edge, Arcade and Gamesmaster magazines). Also, N64 owners should try metal gear solid and final fantasy 7.

Britney Spears made millions, but she shouldn't have because she's a really bad singer and the songs she sings are bad so it's parrelell with the fact that Sony made millions off the Playstation when they shouldn't have. Just doing some explaining for Grix, if any of you don't get it.

N64 owners are by no means rich, I very rarely buy a new game as I can get them a lot cheaper 2nd hand, and just take a look at the bargain I snapped up today
Perfect Dark, mint condition, boxed with manual for a Tenner!! I picked up diddy kong racing for a tenner too, not to mention the classic pilotwings 64 for a fiver, and extreme g for a fiver too. So before you go as far as to say we are rich, just look how low we have to go to be able to pick up some of the best games ever.
