Here a question.

How long do people think the N64 has left to live?

With games like Perfect Dark, Zelda: The Continuing Sage, Turok 3, A Resident Evil game, Top Gear Rally 2, and a bunch of other wicked games this year. How long will the N64 live for? Specially with the PS2 and Dolphin on the horizon how much longer can the N64 last?

The only N64 adverts I've seen are Perfect Dark, Zelda, Goldeneye...erm, that's about it.

Does anyone remember any N64 launch ads? (Even Super Mario Land on GB had its own ad)

Except for Shenmue, all the DC games are a bit arcade-y for my liking...but then again, that is Sega'a strong point.

The release dates is the reason my great-great grandparents immigrated to America. Nintendo advertises?

We got PD before Japan for one reason. IT WAS MADE IN UK!
The same applies to Jet Force Gemini, Blast Korps and other superbe Rare titles!

I'll probably get slated for this, but Tigerblade, I have played on both an N64 and a DC quite a lot, and I still prefer the Playstation. It may not be better, but I still prefer it.

Nintendo don't need to advertise but I agree with the release dates. The Pal versions are nearly always later out in UK than any other country with a Pal format!

By the way did you know that we had Perfect Dark before the Japanese?

It said on Nintendo.com!

And the Japanese usually get all the games before us!

Another thing - Nintendo 64 adverts are rarer than dodos. I have seen far more rubbish adverts for new PS games. I have seen three N64 adverts before (PD, Pokemon Snap and Lylat Wars) and around a million for Colin Mcrae 1 & 2 and thousands of others. I don't know what the situation is in Japan or the USA, but we seem to be getting a raw deal, apart from the actual amazing games.

I love Ninty - They are fantastic, and they have the best games around, but i get very annoyed at THE games (Nintendo UK distributor) at how they always release their games way after everyone else. Super Smash Bros - Great fun, was released in Australia (PAL format) months before it was released over here. I know Nintendo are based in Japan, and so they get the new gold first, but it seems that Nintendo have a slightly sluggish attitude towards the European gaming market, where Sony have made big money - In Japan, PS2 is not selling very well. I would never buy ono, but Ninty need to get their Euro act together.

Grix Thraves - I was not saying that I wanted more blood - I have games like Mario64 and DK64 and I love them even more than my shootem'ups (Goldeneye, Turok:RW). Il ike soft games as much as the hardcore violence - I nfact, I hate game sthat are just sold by their content of blood.
