Here a question.

How long do people think the N64 has left to live?

With games like Perfect Dark, Zelda: The Continuing Sage, Turok 3, A Resident Evil game, Top Gear Rally 2, and a bunch of other wicked games this year. How long will the N64 live for? Specially with the PS2 and Dolphin on the horizon how much longer can the N64 last?

The Gamecube then. Stylish design, excellent graphics, portable and beautiful. PS2. Radiator design, clunky graphics (though better than PSX), hardly portable and deathly ugly.
Which one am I going to buy? Yep, the Gamecube. Nintendo are remarkebly well known for there excellent consoles and games, so why did Sony bring out the PSX in the first place? Just for money. They put 32 bit graphics into a grey cuboid with a silly little design on the front. And they made millions from it. Now, 3 years on, the've brought out another console - PS2 - how original. Gamecube - FANTASTIC!
This is certainly gonna be the Best Console Ever! How many people agree?

The reason Nintendo players diss the playstation is simply because it's BETTER. The playstation is very good, I'll grant you that, but the Nintendo is in a league of it's own with games far better than the PSX. The graphics on the playstation can get to 128 bit. The N64 does it at 256 bit. There is quite a difference, I'm sure you'll agree.

I mean, the Dreamcast will be better than the PS2 when its released. Because of the larger selection of really great games.

Konami makes some great games too, but then again, they will appear on all consoles also.

So really, buying a PS2 will get some good games, while buying a X-Box will get you all PS2's good games, and some PC games.

Nintendo should get all Sonys good games, some other good games from X-Box, and some more great games from Nintendo and Rare.

So gameswise, the best console to get in the future will be the Gamecube, I think.

Now? Get a Dreamcast. Its better than the PS2 at the moment. If you really want a PS2, get one mid next year.

Jake, are you sure that its not the other way around, with playstation fans complaining about the lack of originality or quality in their games?

The only decent game on Playstation is FF7, and all the next sequels of these tired games are coming out on Gamecube, so Ninty and Rare can have a bit of a break from their brilliant game making.

N64 does have better graphics than the Playstation, it just had a few problems with the cartreges. One they are too expensive, but they hold more games in them (or so it seems) and they are far less easy to scratch or brake. N64 has far more original games - Ridge Racer 4 - Tekken 3 - They just are really scraping the bottom of an old barrel. (Yeah there are four Turok games, but they are GREAT) People always are talking about how many games Playstaion has - Quantity does not mean quality. Gamecube - A more inventive name, and oh - FARE MORE POWERFUL than Playstation2. Oh ,and people who complain that you can't pirate cartrages are pathetic and real cheapskates who sulk away from admitting that Nintendo have the best consoles around.

The d-pad is the best d-pad on the market because of Nintendo's patents on it. Have you noticed PSX have some weird four different buttons and third-party controllers have horrid clunky ones. The d-pad is easily one of the best innovations on the controller as well as the analogue stick. PSX has two awful clunky ones whereas Nintendo's is oh so smooth...

Gameboy Advance is totally not a rip-off, like some people say.
One: It is the same price as the GBC when it came out, but a larger upgrade than GBC was.
Two: The graphics are brilliant and it will play all GB games, meaning you don't have to shell out for new games if you got some.
Three: Portasble gaming with the same power as Playstation! Much better than PSOne, which is portable... as long as you're near a plug socket (!)
