Now, I was a little annoyed with SR getting rid of the gaming threads.
So please share your Championship Manger experiences in here.
Currently i am Sheffield Wednesday in the year 2030. This is the furthest I have ever got in any champ man game! THe other ones used to stop after 2026. Anyone know when it does end? If ever?
Anyways, whats the most you have sold someone for? Mine is £88M. Well chuffed with that sale. It was one of my home grown players as well. Came through the reserves and was a great hit.

A few steps-
Before you start the game go into the editor in the start menu under your CM game. Set the team's bank balance to about £57,000,000, and to supplement this change their stadium capacity and ave attenadance to 35,000. Then start the game and sign him for about £7m. 'AVE IT!
I once got Michael Silvestre to Northampton to shore up the defence using this system. Worked like a charm. Ho ho ho.

TACTICS: I will use:
5-3-2 in FA matches
3-Hold on.....eeeerrrrr....
oh, yeah 4-3-0-2-1 in games that I doubt i will win..
3-3-1-3 in most D3 games...like Cardiff and York....
3-3-1-3 is a heavy formation that Smithy (Alan)
is wicked playing in....
Oh, first formation is for friendlies aswell...
Rushden & Ds will be in the Prem before you can say supercallafragalisticexpealedosious or something like that...

I find a good away system is, 4-3-0-2-1. This seems to work for teams of all abilities, I got Norwich promoted to the prem and kept them up using this, I also won the Spanish league with Real Madrid using this.
