Now, I was a little annoyed with SR getting rid of the gaming threads.

So please share your Championship Manger experiences in here.

Currently i am Sheffield Wednesday in the year 2030. This is the furthest I have ever got in any champ man game! THe other ones used to stop after 2026. Anyone know when it does end? If ever?

Anyways, whats the most you have sold someone for? Mine is £88M. Well chuffed with that sale. It was one of my home grown players as well. Came through the reserves and was a great hit.

Okay, picture the scene.

I'm top of the league after 12 games on goal difference with a game in hand. I only go and get 4 players upset due to poor league position. How is that possible?

I just play the game and hope that one team doesn't get thrashed. I've only had four teams meet in the Champions League. They are all in the top two in the Champions League groups, so I'm not too bothered.

All the 8 teams are, at least, in the top 4. I think I'm actually 4th with Barcelona because they lost to Real Madrid (which happens to be me also).

Not too shabby, I think.

how does it work out when your teams meet in the League and Europe? And have two of your teams been chalenging for the title?

Are running out of things to talk about the amzing Champ Manager!

To make my game more interesting, I have taken on the job of Everton. First I sold
Ferguson
Campbell
Radzinski
Max Moore
Pistone
Xavier
Watson
Schumacher
Gemmill
Cadamartieri
Gravesen
Alexandersson.

This lowered the debt to about 2 million, i still only had transfer funds of about 500k.

So i went shopping, and went to Sweden and looked at the top clubs, and started buying young players:

Petter Hansson
Salif Jonsson
Fredick Lagemyr
Tommy Jonsson
Sebastain Johansson
Martin Eriksson

These players cost me between 150k - 500k. They are great and they all are Swedish internationals now and i am only in 2003. Most of these players are about 20-22.

Also now i have these great young players, i have decided to sell any players over 31 at the end of the season.

Each year i buy a player with 20 influence at 29/30 years or age and use him for 1 season and sell him on for profit.

At the moment i have won the FA Cup, League Cup, League and UEFA cup in two seasons.

I really need to start playing CM 01/02 again!
I doubt i'll do it tonight, but maybe Saturday, after work.
I don't play it that often now because my each season's game seems to get slower and slower on my PC, and it usually takes me about 3 hours to get through just one month!! And that's even if most of my games are played at 'very fast' speed, with only 6 other background leagues.

I may consider getting an X-box and this game in the future - if a keyboard is released for it, and I don't get a new PC. That's solve my 'speed' problems!

That's gonna get confusing
