Now, I was a little annoyed with SR getting rid of the gaming threads.

So please share your Championship Manger experiences in here.

Currently i am Sheffield Wednesday in the year 2030. This is the furthest I have ever got in any champ man game! THe other ones used to stop after 2026. Anyone know when it does end? If ever?

Anyways, whats the most you have sold someone for? Mine is £88M. Well chuffed with that sale. It was one of my home grown players as well. Came through the reserves and was a great hit.

£55000 a week and I think no more than £3 mill for the signing on fee
and he accepted that...
though given time I'm sure he'll be demanding pay in line with the top players at the club.

Cheers

Ronaldo for 15m is excellent.

Although I imagine his wages and signing on fee and bonuses are astronomical.

:D

Get Arjen Robben.

Best player in the game.

Well, one of.

Real Madrid just put Ronaldo up for transfer by his own request (something to do with not believing he will be in his managers future plans... 3rd season during world club championships)
my club vetoed the transfer at 11 million because he failed the medical...
2 weeks later they wanted 15.24 million
I paid it, just waiting for the work permit to come through

Was this a good signing, or a poo deal?

Kirkland is indeed an excellent player, but you have to hope Dudek takes precedence over him at Liverpool at the start if you want to snap him up. Of course, he won't be as good as he won't hae much first team experiance, but still......

I got a player called Kevin Hammond about half way through a game. English F C.

Absoloutely incredible.

About as good as players like Bellamy and Olivera at about 19.

By 25 he was the best in the world.

I found Kirkland turns into a great player, in one season he conceded 22 goals in 67 games and was worth about £12m.

That argentine keeper, costanzo (at River plate) is the best keeper on the game.

Well, not straight away. As he his only 20. But after a few years his stats are solid.

Ivan Pelliozi is my particular fave when it comes to standing inbetween the sticks. Bought him from Roma for 2.5M and he only conceeded 15 goals in 42 games. Now that's what you call reliable. (Until he got injured for 6 months the stupid idiot grrrrr)

Nigmatullin? He's in my Man Utd squad.... I got him for £6.25 mill
, and he conceded 21 goals in about 50 games in his first season, which was nice.
