Now, I was a little annoyed with SR getting rid of the gaming threads.
So please share your Championship Manger experiences in here.
Currently i am Sheffield Wednesday in the year 2030. This is the furthest I have ever got in any champ man game! THe other ones used to stop after 2026. Anyone know when it does end? If ever?
Anyways, whats the most you have sold someone for? Mine is £88M. Well chuffed with that sale. It was one of my home grown players as well. Came through the reserves and was a great hit.

The Media are so funny! One minute they are backing Smith, then my team were praised and now they are saying that Kevin Dixon is ruining my team. I stood up for him and my player/assistant manager has said he has 'doubled his efforts'. Ha! A radio debate says that if they were in my shoes they wouldn't play K Dixon. He is wicked. The The Media are so stupid! (And funny!)
I'm currently considering something of a small summer clearout, I also suspect that some of my squad will be retiring soon: Bergkamp, Keown and Seaman.
Trying to get Landon Donnavon (probably spelt wrongly)
and might end up getting rid of ronaldo in 18 months if he continues to be prone to injuries like Kanu is in the game, unless he starts scoring regularly or has good assists stats.

Ah if he was injured i could see how you'd get him at that price i was a bit confused why they would let him go so cheaply.
If you have any updates on the game then i doubt Madeira will be there as he was exposed to not actually exist in real life so SI took him out of their updates i think. However you can still check for him, he should be at Gouvela at the start of the game priced at around 10k. Sometime you can get him for 10k other times you may have to go up to around 250k for him. However he is worth it and regularly banged in 40+ goals for me a season.

15 Mill for Ronaldo is very good however i would have just bought To Madeira for around 50k to get the same kind of results. Of course though Ronaldo is actually a real player so i guess if you want realism it's better to sign him.
