Exellent Poet?
Just someone who likes to write their thoughts?
Well here is the thread for anyone and everyone to write their words. May it be about love, life or death - a song, poem or just a few words.
Here is the thread for your thoughts.
I look forward to reading them,
MWA
Sibs, again your writing is as good as ever. Keep it up :-D Enjoying the words.
The ones I posted are from when I was in Year 10 and had to write a poem for a picture given to me. I sat down at a PC in the I.T room at school and wrote it straight out. It had to be the fastest piece of long creative writing I ever wrote and I was proud of that when I was younger.
Climbing,
Climbing above the hills like a hiker without fear,
Like a bird with no decision.
Climbing,
To see what lies deep into the blue which smothers the isolated land,
A land that has no destiny to be seen,
To be heard,
Or to be said,
A destiny which only can be seen in its creator.
Climbing,
Until climbing can not reach its peak,
Its peak in which shall not be seen,
Until the lonely countryside has been breached,
Encountered and discovered,
In the mind of a soul,
Left,
Nowhere, but to be seen.
And what will become of the life which is to be exposed?
That is not to be known,
As the future is not to be seen,
And the past is not to be discovered,
And the present is not to be challenged.
Vision,
I see a vision,
A vision like no other,
A vision where the hills collide,
The lands opposites attract,
And form a vision of a world where war is not an option,
And peace is not alive.
But where does it end?
Where is the end of the line?
The line which the sun stops shining,
Leaving the hills alive with glory,
Leaving the flowers no say but to blossom,
Leaving the Earth in all its form,
As one,
Together only with its glaring arms,
Which suffocates the life,
That is Earth.

Why do I want to be lonely?
Why do I want to be forlorn?
I don’t,
That’s the simple answer,
But I never seem to be accepted,
I’m always the outsider,
The outcast,
And occasionally,
The scapegoat,
I came,
I saw,
I left, running with my head hung,
Heh,
Perhaps that should be my motto,
As it’s all I seem to do at the moment,
You see,
I have just moved,
Into different circles,
(Although they seem like squares)
Because,
You see,
I found,
a new community,
Tightly bound,
As if they’ve been wrapped up by a spider,
“Are you local?”
“No”
“F*** off then”
That generally seems to be their attitude,
Time is a great healer,
Well,
That’s what they say,
But I seem to have a tattoo emblazoned on my forehead,
“Do Not Accept This Person”
Is that what it reads?
And nothing can remove a tattoo,
Not a tattoo branded into flesh anyhow,
Branded into MY flesh by their accusative stares,
Their penetrating eyes,
And their body language,
I know where I’m not wanted,
And I know that I don’t want to stay here,
But I also know,
That I have to stay here,
Life’s a b***h,
Wear a helmet,
And brace yourself for impact.
Serenading The Stars
_____________________
I lie,
Calm,
Peace,
Restful,
On the grass in my garden,
Alone,
Away,
Just me,
And the stars,
And they shine,
Down on me only,
For in that moment,
True beauty is defined,
Just by those special somethings in the sky,
Nature,
All around me,
Civilisation?
Nowhere near,
A blanket of black,
Stretching forever,
And,
Ever,
Obscured by the atmosphere,
They shine,
They shine forever,
And,
Ever,
Shining down on me,
Speaking to me,
And me,
Only,
Beauty as a depiction,
And I start to sing,
I serenade the stars,
And they shine sweetly back,
Until morning,
When they fade away,
A ray of red is cast upon my shadowy form,
And it's time to leave,
But the night with the stars,
Me,
And me,
Only,
Tomorrow they'll be back,
For me,
And me,
Only,
They help me get through another day,
They don't judge me,
And they don't answer back,
They just listen,
To me,
And me,
Only,
They must rest,
Until the next night,
When I come back,
For them,
And them,
Only
We marched to the show,
We could almost see it glow,
And waited in paitence,
All feeling the tension,
Erupted into movement,
The excitement of chaos,
We danced without invitation,
And began our levitation,
Dancing on the ceiling,
jumping to the wailing,
crashing to the ground,
stomping with our passion,
We built it up,
Our sweat drenched euphoria,
Adrenaline bursts,
Are our new elixars,
The last wave shimmered through us,
And for the final moment,
We knew we'd ascended,
To our utopia.
I thought i'd POP this thread by adding those words mainly because I know Sibs liked it and the other contributers such as RBS.
Anyway, keep it all going, whenever you have something post it no matter how down the forum it is :-)
