I still think Yellow is better though, especially if you have a GB color as the game is in full colour and Pikachu can talk, follow you, surf..etc. It's the only version which allows you to teach Charizard Fly. The good thing with BLue and Red is that they can also be played in full colour on a Super gameboy SNES cart. Red, blue and yellow all have a cool background once played on the Super Gameboy.
Pokémon Stadium is better if you have any one of the Gameboy versions.
Pokémon Snap isn't out in the UK yet so I haven't played it yet.
But why hasn't anyone mentioned Pokémon Pinball? I got it from the USofA and it's the best pinball game out for any format . Ok the music isn't PC quality but the gameplay is excellent and the gameboy cart has an inbuilt Rumble Pak (requires 1 AAA battery). It's great as it's one of the first games for the Gameboy Colour but Rumble feature automatically turns off on the SNES. As well as Yellow version, Pikachu talks. The game has a red and blue table and some of the pokémon you can only catch on the onetable (just like the normal GB game). To make it up to yellow version owners, it has a Yellow box.
1.The person with the Pokémon to be cloned wait patiently.
2.The other person catch a very common Pokémon eg.Pidgey or Spearow
3.Connect gameboys using link cable
4.Go to the trade room
5.Whilst actually trading, Person from step 1 get ready to turn gameboy off.
6.When both pokémon have been traded the screen will go blank for a split second before it says Trade complete. Person from step 1 turn off gameboy whilst the screen is blank.
7. You'll know if it's worked because the second gameboy will have paused with the words "Trade Complete".
8.Person 2 turn off gameboy.
9.When both gameboys are turned back on, the common Pokémon will have been set free as it will not be on the cart but both people will have the pokémon that person 1 started with.
This works with all formats. If it doesn't work first time try it again. Once you know how to do it, it's easy.

If you got Mew then even better. I'm going to get a cheat-cart soon for my GBC so I can get Mew without having to go to any events which seem to take place nowhere near where I live.
