I have just picked up a GameCube with Logic 3 Memory card and Star Wars Rouge Squadron! The controls are quite easy to get used to although swapping between my Xbox and GameCube is going to be hard after playing a long time on each. Star Wars is very good so far although the Training mission is a bit poor! I have done the first two parts of mission 1 where you have destroy the towers and kill the ships but the 3rd part is VERY difficult! I keep blowing up when the 3 enemy ships turn up behind you, any ideas on how to lose them? I am going to find information about connecting it to my 5.1 AMP but for now its back to Star Wars!

Yes Gerrid but he meant the game will be PAL as you need to order a game at the same time.

Cheers Whitestipes on the information but I think I will stick to ordering it within the UK and I am going to look to see if I can get it for under £20!

As for Star Wars I am saving it to sit down and play it later on tonight but for now I am reading some reviews on GameCube games and searching for a cheaper Wavebrid controller. I am going to try and 100% Star Wars (although I have heard it is difficult later on) and to do this I will use a guide from gamefaqs.com so that I can search for everything and unlock every ship available in the game. Which missions use the real time clock? I bet the training mission is one and by the back of the box I am guessing that the snow mission could be one as well?! Anyway my search for a cheaper Wavebrid continues >>> How many batteries does it take? Cheers :)

I don't think it matters if it's PAL or not, it will still work.

It's immensly reliable, I've only changed the battries once and I've had it for ages, and it never jumps even slightly, the reception is absolutely perfect even if you stand at the other end of your house.

It's a bit expensive, but it's nice to have one.

Although if you don't mind waiting, you can order one from dvdboxoffice.com for just £24 with free delivery! Thats the same as buying a normal controller in the shops here!

Alternativly, you can get a Wavebird for £12 (I think) if you order it at the same time as a game from dvdcrave.com, which is Australian but it's still a PAL territory so it will work fine.

The Training mission really is quite dire.

But there are secret things to do and find, and you get the Naboo Starfighter for doing them.

You'll never do it by yourself though, plus it would be immensly boring, look it up on gamefaqs or something.

Also, it uses the GC's clock, some missions will be different depending on whether you play it in the morning, afternoon or evening.

Whats the Wavebrid controller like? I am thinking of getting it so that I aren't over ran with Xbox, Dreamcast and GameCube controller wires. Does it constantly pick up the signal within 40 feet? Is it reliable? Cheers!

Gamezfreak its brilliant! The graphics are rich, the frame rate is solid and the gameplay is top notch! Until I hook my GameCube up to my AMP I can't really comment on the sounds but if the first level is anything to go by then the sounds should be excellent. As of yet I have only played the Training mission and the first level but I am hoping to move on quickly once I sit down and begin to play it properly. The training mission takes place on the deserts of Tatooine but I didn't really find it of much use! The first mission takes place near The Death Star and as an introduction to the game you can't ask for anything better! I will tell you more as I play it and tonight I will sit down and begin to play the game with a means to succeed! Quite like the controller as well which was something I was worried about :)
