Sorry, but it is!

I don't believe in the Big Bang, it is impossible. Nor do I believe in the steady state theory. I belive in God. If you want to you can laugh.

Feel free to argue, I will post my full analysis later.

Just don't reduce yourselves to swearing chimps! :D

okay... that Nothing -> God -> Universe theory...

Yes... so a God. He has existed since... well all time. He never 'started'. He has always been there... and he always will be there...

Is this what I find so unbelievable? The human mind cannot imagine 'eternal' because that is forever. No beginning, no end... so God has had all this time (limitless time to be precise) to practice making universes, and life, and order his designs for a world with a 'civilization', then he creates some dinosaurs, wipes them all out, and then creates Earth... hmm... where were the dinos then? hmmm... another planet maybe? Yes, and God moved the fossils to Earth to show us what can happen when he gets angry...

but then even with all this time to practice he still creates a race that insist on killing each other... and then he even screws up the religion factor... so many people now have no belief whatsoever in God, and even when people were religious, they still did stuff that is bad, like religious fanatics would kill people with split personalities as 'possessed by the devil' or some rubbish...

okay, explain to me those 'small' problems in the God theory then...

*waits in anticipation for Ants reply*

But the moment you start to claim that your

You step over the line from belief to
fundamentalist.
Wars have been fought and people died for this reasoning.
Ant is a Christian, and I respect that because he doesn't go about imposing his
beliefs on others.

This is the rantings of a fundamentalist, and therefore invalid.
You don't know.
I don't know. Difference is I don't go about trying
to disprove god.

I agree with the Goat. Whatever your beliefs are, I am as quick as anyone to respect them, but please, don't force thoses opinions/beliefs down other peoples throats.

What does Red Shift prove? Planets are moving away from each other? Anything else? No?

I am a Christian, not an isolist monk! ;)

I cannot force my opinions on you. and i'm not going to live my life strictly on a set of rules.

I can only put forward the facts: and I've yet to heard a convincing scientific argument for the Big Bang, Steady State or any other theory, and of course, there is no scientific evidence for God.

If you want to believe that you are simply an overgrown chimp that came from two atoms colliding in a volcanic eruption and evolving, you can. I just find it hard to believe.

Lol, as long as that inforation was useful to someone, I'm glad I helped

Another pice of useless informaton is that a red car always looks like its going faster than normal. This is because red goes past the eye quicker

Does this sound reasonable to you? The Big Bang is Science Fiction. Scientists, with no other theory, invented a bunch of mathematical forumla that nobody could ever hope to understand, and said it proved it. WRONG. Sorry Goaty, round one goes to the Lord.

Well, if that's what you want to think.

If you want to spend your whole life living by a set of rules imposed on you by something who apparently gave you your own free will, just so that when you die you (hopefully) go to a better place.

In my view THAT is a bunch of bull.

You only get one life, do what you want with it.

You chose to believe in God, fine, that's up to you. I chose to do my own thing and not worry about something that I have no way of proving one way or another.

Also, how can you say that scientists are wrong? In your view they are wrong, but in my view they are correct. You cannot impose your will on me. If you try to, surely you break the will of God, as we are supposed to all havw our own free will.

See?

Not really, but anything about life > death> afterlife > creation is welcome here! Thanks for the trivia mate!
