Sorry, but it is!

I don't believe in the Big Bang, it is impossible. Nor do I believe in the steady state theory. I belive in God. If you want to you can laugh.

Feel free to argue, I will post my full analysis later.

Just don't reduce yourselves to swearing chimps! :D

Well sorry, you're getting one from me :D

When Adam and Eve broke their trust in God, he decided he would not be as close to the human race as he once was - the reason why things that you described happen.

I don't read the Bible, or go to Church, so you may call me a fraud, but its my belief.

I think the above is something along the right lines.

I am also in anticipation of a repy from Ant :D

It was a joke, but it didn't backfire - I was prepared for this. At least Your Honour admitted he did wrong (thought my posts were aimed at him :D), Sibs made a valuable contribution, as did everyone except Goatboy. If anyone is a Fundamentalist its him ;)

Oh, and Ant, I'm not that good at science - GCSE is only a basic level - YH has done A-Level.

I just find that I can't imagine a start point: and however the universe was created, we need one of those! I can't imagine nothingness- its the same as if you think about passing away and there being nothing- you have no conscious (SP) mind anymore. Its inconcievable to our brains.

Perhaps one day aliens will come along and tell us we're all wrong and what really happened was............ .... :D

It's all getting very heated again. {:)

Personally, after reading on the website I appear to be frequently mentioning I am almost totally convinced that the Big Bang and Red Shift aren't true, mainly because of the evidence which says the Bang should have sent space inwards, not outwards. At least something, like that, and it was quoted as one imaginary thing on top of another. {:)

Anyway, I've had enough of all this now. I get the feeling this was more of a joke from Darkness, which has perhaps backfired a bit. Maybe not though. :D

Anyway, be nice to him, he is excellent at Science. Better than me anyway.

Its fine, all this arguing will get us nowhere its just a bit of fun - even before I read the above post, I did not go to insults, I'm just trying to have a laugh. the only person I think has not made a worthwile comment is Goatboy :D

OK, I said one word wrong. I said there were no facts so it DIDN'T happen. I should have said it is VERY unlikely it happened. Sorry ;P.

And I never said that God DEFINATELY existed. In fact, I said there were no facts for that either, so it is also unlikely, I just believe it.

Sorry, I thought you were having a go at me in your earlier posts.

My post isn't meant to be as harsh as it probably sounds, by the way.

Your Honour, I respect your views. And thanks for the input. I have always had an interset in this kind of thing, yet have never been able to fully accept it.

There is evidence that planets are moving away from each other. There is evidence that the universe was created SOMEHOW, but the evidence on the beginning point is minimal. It is all theories. I understand how new stars and things are created, and I dont believe God creates each new one, just that he set it in motion.

And I never mentioned the Bible :D

And Sibs, thank you VERY much. Sometihng scientific, not just base level insults, I admire you a LOT.

If you can't PROVE God, then they can't be FACTS. If they were FACTS then it would PROVE God exists.

>I never said God HAS to exist. I just said that the Big >Bang cannot of happened.

Oh, so you're a scientist now, are you? You can say you don't believe that the Big Bang happened, but you cannot say that it DIDN'T, else you're contradicting what you said in the first paragraph.

You said that you can't prove it either way, and then in the next paragraph you say that the "Big Bang cannot of happened". Contradiction. Make your mind up.

I have done no such thing.

Try listening to your own advice.

I am imposing nothing on anybody. I am putting the facts across. Things is, I have said nobody can PROVE God, and nobody can PROVE the Big Bang.

I never said God HAS to exist. I just said that the Big Bang cannot of happened. If scientists come up with a more detailed and scientific-law-abiding theory, I'm open to believ it, or at least give it some thought.

If you think I am trying to convert people, you are the ignorant one.

I just want to find out what people think, if they have any facts, and I'll listen to their ideas.

You my friend have not made one contribution to this subject that either takes the p*** out of me and my beliefs or insults me on little or no evidence.

Sorry to be blunt. Open your mind. Leave other people with their beliefs, and keep your own. Share your own. Just don't diss what others think because it conflicts with your ideas.

I can only put forward the facts: and I've yet to heard a convincing scientific argument for the Big Bang, Steady State or any other theory, and of course, there is no scientific evidence for God.

Yes, but have you ever bothered to look for/listen to any evidence for the Big Bang theory?

And I don't mean search the 'net for it.

I did a module for A-level physics on astronomy and all the big bang type, where did stars come from, black holes etc. And the whole lot made an enormous amount of sense to me.

A lot more sense than the bible does, that's for sure.

So before you go around saying "I haven't seen any evidence of.." make sure your "evidence" isn't just some mate speaking rubbish down the pub.

Try and find some PROPER sources of information, and not the bible, for obvious reasons.
