I have though that everywhere has one apart from some inculding us we never one to show that alot of people come to this forum and by beating all the other longest thread it will show that the Movies, TV, Music and Books is the best!
Write about every film,cd,book,or something on T.V that you watched and though was good or bad we can beat the other forums but we need everyone to join in to when you are at this forum do all your chating here.
This thread you can talk about anything.
thanks Coley

If having read a book in the last week makes me a natural fool then yes, I am just that.

Seriously though Tazz, Wrestling-related jibes aside, has reading honestly become uncool? Do you not have the will to pick up a good book and read it from beginning to end and not be entirely immersed in the world created by the author. Try reading "Catch-22" by Joseph Heller, it's funny, wilfully absurd and not too difficult to read. Or why not read something that's beautifully moving like "Catcher in the Rye" or "The Great Gatsby". They are all brilliant books and you won't regret reading them, you might even impress your teachers (I'm asuming you are still at school). I know that school takes a lot of the fun out of reading, but I reall do believe that my favourite book was more of an experience, for want of a better word, than my favourite film.

It may be easy to watch a director's interpretation of a book for one and a half hours than actually reading the book over a few days but it's not better. When you read you are the director and you can interpret the book in whichever way you want; you can imagine your own vision of each character and you can get to know them on your own terms. When you watch a film the director does all that for you. Some people like that, however, I don't. I find that books are a far more involving experience than cinema, and I love films. You shouldn't be so critical of books when there is a wealth of enjoment out there that you are denying yourself because of a thoroughly misinformed opinion. Think about. Reading isn't oldfashioned; it just requires you to think a little, and that's not so hard, is it?

OK can I just say, there are plenty of other guys on this forum that like wrestling. So I joined this forum as well, does that mean you should just opinionize all over me as if I care? Why don't you go insult some other wrestling fan on this forum instead of insulting my life?!
