Nomino get to know people before accusing them of buying boot discs to play copies.
I bought my boot disc for Bomberman Kart, Moto GP3 and GT4 etc etc.
All Jap imports, no copies.

So all copied games have half the music and movie files ripped out do they?

Here you are showing you ignorance and lack of knowledge.

Most people don't agree with piracy and that is fair enough, and i can imagine that some people would want a chip or boot disk to play imports, but you should at least stick to the facts when talking about copied games Darwock.

A DVD copy (of a DVD5 game) is *identical* to the original. Nothing is ripped. It is the *SAME GAME*.

If you get a DVD game on CD, then stuff is ripped. But again, as Nomino pointed out, if you have a Direct boot M2 chip (or something capable of the same thing) you would not need CD rips.

Whatever your opinion of the piracy scene, i think you should at least stick to what is true.

Why would you want to play pirate games with half the music and movie files ripped out when you can play original imports that run faster and in full screen?

Why would you want to open up your PS2 and drop hot solder on the chip boards when you can simply replace the case and use a boot disc?

Why would you want a boot disk? If you want it for piracy (and let's face it, that's the only reason you would want one - don't give me "so I can play import" gibbersih), you would know that Messiah/2, and a host of other chips for the PS2 are direct boot.

Yes, I was thinking that. After all, why would anyone spend £18 on a disc you could just download from the net, eh?

You can't burn a boot disc, that defeats the whole purpose! If you want a PS2 to read a boot disc on a CD-R, you'd have to put in a proper original boot disc first so you could boot the copied boot disc!!!

I've downloaded a PS2 Bootdisc a few days ago with Kazaa.
I just dont no how to use it. I burned the files of the bootdisc to a cd and putted it in the PS2. But eh... that isnt right, isnt it?

Question about Final Fantasy X :
To get the Celestial Mirror, you first need to get the Cloudy Mirror.
But to get the Cloudy Mirror, you need to get the ???? and to get the ???? you need to get the ... etc. Right?
I think it all starts with the Moon Crest.
But what do you need after the Moon Crest? And after that? And ... etc???

SAFC - forty quid for both, plus P & P ?

by the way, newageconsoles.com seem good and reliable for import games etc, they have a high street shop which is always reassuring.
