Acclaim have announced that they're porting Burnout to the Gamecube. Doesn't overly interest me, but I'm sure it will some people.

Secondly, there are strong rumours that GTA3 will be coming to the Gamecube. PlanetGamecube are carrying the story, and apparently got it from a reputable source. The GBA version of the game, however, is rumoured to have been canned.

GTA3 on Gamecube is an interesting concept, mostly because it's considered to be one of the best PS2 games. There have been rumours in the past that the franchise was going to become Sony exclusive, but it doesn't look to be so now.

PS2 loses more of its "exclusive" titles...

I dont see it attracting Sony mans to the Gamecube though. These games are old news...But it is nice too see Gamecube getting more errr Adult games.

Burnout? Wehey!

(A REAL racer which prefers to be exciting rather than have pretty graphics. GT3 take note!)

And Grand Theft Auto 3 too?
Super, although I don't think my mum will want it in the house.
Still... I DID get away with Conkers Bad Fur Day...

These kind of statements always confuse me a little.

Surely you knew what games were coming out when you bought one?

But yes, you're right the 1st and 2nd party titles are seeing too many delays at the moment.

The thing is, every new console takes a while to get a steady flow of quality releases.

Already getting tired of GTA3 on my PS2 - Gamecube needs more than a few ports, espically as considering it's about three months since I bought my Gamecube there still been ZERO software to interest me since launch day. The immediate future doesn't exactly look rosey either.

Am I going to have to wait 8-10 months from launch until there is actually another game worth buying?

I admit GTA3 is a good game, and if it is gonna be ported to GC that can only be good news.
