Acclaim have announced that they're porting Burnout to the Gamecube. Doesn't overly interest me, but I'm sure it will some people.

Secondly, there are strong rumours that GTA3 will be coming to the Gamecube. PlanetGamecube are carrying the story, and apparently got it from a reputable source. The GBA version of the game, however, is rumoured to have been canned.

GTA3 on Gamecube is an interesting concept, mostly because it's considered to be one of the best PS2 games. There have been rumours in the past that the franchise was going to become Sony exclusive, but it doesn't look to be so now.

FF is almost a definite no. Nintendo and Square will never make up.

MGS is also very doubtful, because Sony would never let it happen and Kojima likes Sony too much.

As for Shenmue, well, the department itsn't really commited to Nintendo.

Now all we need is Final Fantasy, a Metal Gear Solid, and Shenmue!

Then there won't be any reason to buy another console instead of Gamecube!

I managed to sway five people who were saving for Playstation2's today to buying a GC in about five weeks. I also said they would say money at SR. :-D Anyways, one of my mine reasons was the ports which are flying over from the PS2.... I mentioned GTA3, they all said their minds had been made.

Its not bad news, its bloody fantastic.

This GTA3 news, so far, the little Nintendo birdy which informs me every morning of more lovely news has backed it up. It will release towards the end of April/beginning of May and will contain a few little bonus's for the cube to handle.

It just gets better and better.... ROLL ON.

MGS2... whats happening with those talks ey? Going to Nintendo? By chance?

Being such a great game, perhaps Nintendo will make an exception to GTA3. After all, GTA2 was meant to be coming to the N64 a few years back...

Hmm. We've already had a handful of traditionally Nintendo games already, and of course you can already buy these ports on a PS2. I'm not sure how Nintendo will react to GTA3 on the GC. Resi is one thing, GTA is quite, quite another.

It won't exactly pull in the Sony fans but it means I'll still get to play top titles like GTA3 and Burnout without having to buy a PS2.
