"Splinter Cell was Multi-platform from the beginning."

Well Well then it appears that Splinter Cell the so called Xbox exclusive was infact a multi platform game from the very beginning and infact the developers actually wanted to make sure they could achieve the same level of detail on the PS2 and GC games otherwise they would have never have started the project.

Infact the PS2 version has extras, that are geared more towards the PS2 user as they demand more and have higher skill level, not my words but the actual developers comments.

Then again I can imagine that it's a hard game for Xbox users because of their poorly designed controllers.

'extras'

From what I can tell, it's just a dummied down "normal" mode and a few extra cut scenes. Nothing to wet the bed over.

I've got Splinter Cell on the Xbox and am more than happy with it, and to be honest, I don't really give a crap about any so-called "extras" be they in a new version or downloads.

Show me these furious XBOX owners.

There are a lot of irrate Xbox users out there at the moment that reckon the Xbox version of Splinter Cell was release early to make a bit of money and that Ubi soft where then going to use the extra time to add the extra features and cinematics they had planned originally. However these were going to be on the PS2 and GC only because of the later release date.

Xbox users are furious that they will have to pay out an extra £40 to get the newer version if it ever comes out or download the extras over broadband well we all know how many people in the UK can get that.

huge faceless corparations dont make stupid mistakes. All the sonsoles have their good points and its always a hard choise when your trying to decide which console to get.
