Fools...

Sometimes I think that there are people on the xbox forum who have forgotten that the sequel to the best game on xbox is coming out.

Yeah, alright, so there isn't exactly dayly updates but still, maybe we can all say what we want in Halo 2 and when updates come, we can post them here...........

That would make for a decent battle. ;-) My main hopes are for some very large scale open field battles much like the one in the Assault on the Control Room level of the first game and a World War 2 style beach landing level. The first game touched on this in the Silent Cartographer level, but with the second game being set on Earth, it could really make for a large scale experience with the Covenant dug in with heavy anti-air cover - leading to an assault from the sea or ground being neccesary.

What I'd like to see in Halo 2 is fierce and long gun battle in a deep forest. Dodging and weaving behind the boughs of trees, etc. There's a bit of it in Halo, but I'd like to see much more.
In fact, a whole level set in a vast forest would be cool, with Master Chief being backed up by hundreds of allied foot soliders.
Just a thought.

Fair enough - that may be the case. I, on the other hand, would encourage some healthy comparison and debate in any forum - be it X-Box, PS2 or GameCube.

Right,

I agree the demo was poor, but i think you should read some reviews before crossing out the whole game.

also, on the point of controllers, in blockbusters, will you be able to ret games with they're specfic controller? (I'm concerened about steel battalion......)

Mav - at the end of the day, we both know that if I were to go into the Ninty forum and do the same as you but the other way around with those 2 titles, I'd get plenty of replies that are more than a little hostile.

Oh and thanks for the 3 scores you put up. I'm thinking of looking into Racing Evoluzione, but after the reviews I'm not just gonna jump in and grab it, might see what its like a bit more before I hand over the cash.
World Racing I'm not gonna touch with a barge pole and as for Lamborghini, I'm gonna play the demo some more and see if I can get into it more. The game is really good and I like it, but the steering is putting me off a little right now. It seems impossible to complete a race without taking a stupid amount of damage - sometimes just from trying to keep straight on a straight piece of road. I get 1st and 2nd places, but knowing that the main game gets you to pay for damages, I get the feeling I'll forever be paying for damages rather than purchasing new cars.

Overall, its a case of wait and see on 2 of those titles. :-)

No, the 30 seconds it lasted was pretty crap really, too easy like most of Sega's gun games. I prefer Time Crisis style games where the emphasis is on shooting fast, accurate, and there is motivation to beat your completion times, HOTD plays too much like an on-rails shooter. Not worth buying the gun for I think.

Really- thats funny I completed it in less than 30 mins

YOU FOOL- That's just the demo, and the thirty seconds it lasted it was fun.

Yup, Rachel and her sister, anyway, I think Panzer Dragoon and Shenmue 2 are both excellent, the little additions to Shenmue 2 make it that much better - especially the controls thing in the bottom right corner, and Dragoon's graphics are just great, plays well too. House Of The Dead 3 looks like it will be not good enough to buy a light gun for, completed the demo first time, in about 2 minutes, with a pad.... I also thought their review of DOAX Volleyball was poor, and treated it too much like a normal game, for once Edge did the better review of this game *collapses with disbelief*

On a more civilised note - GamesTM said it was the best out of the three coming out (the other two being Racing Evoluzione, and World Racing). Their group test scores were:

1. Lamborghini - 7/10.
2. World Racing - 6/10.
3. Racing Evoluzione - 5/10.

Of course, that isn't to say that's gospel - you might love Racing Evoluzione. This may help, though :).

From my point of view, it's the other way round.

Look. These forums are meant for discussion, and this one is X-Box related. I don't see any problem with that - and neither does anyone else, except for you. I don't come into these forums to force my opinions on others, I come into them to discuss games, compare, etc. I said 'I don't care', simply to end an argument that was going nowhere.

I come in here because I WILL buy an X-Box in the future, and enjoy talking about it and related topics with forum members such as gamezfreak and Ali. What I don't enjoy, is having to take rubbish and justify myself to people like you - just for giving an opinion I'm completely entitled to.

Fair enough?
