What strange, funny, or unusual things have you seen while roaming the streets of GTA3?
I have seen a flying car. I was in portland, just outside my base. I jumped on top of a taxi, got my sniper riffel, and killed as I traveled. Eventualy the cops came after me. The taxi driver went crazy, and drove everywhere. when his car fliped over I was forced to leave it. But as I was running away, a car came round the corner. It went onto rthe grass and hit a tree. My mate who was with me said 'look at that car' as it got closer we realised it was flying above the GTA guys head. I ran after it, and after a while it landed and drove off normaly.
so what have you seen?

i got onto a flat bed truck. it was at the traffic lights so i used the van next to it to jump in the back i then to a little pot shot at the drivers seat and held on for the ride LMAO it's so funny they go nuts and it's probablt the best car to do it on as it's hard to get knocked off it.
I know someone's mention using the lift bridge as a car crusher before so I thought I'd try it as well.
Managed to get a taxi to drive off just as the bridge was coming down (you need to time this right) and it crushed the car, well actually the bridge left part of the taxi sticking up in the air!
Just the boot part of the taxi was showing, I was even able to jump on it and shoot it, in the end the bridge lifted up again and the taxi fell into the river.

I pinched a police car in Portland and started the Vigilante mission, after about 3 criminals taken out I managed to roll the car onto the roof, seeing as the car was almost wrecked I jumped out as quick as possible and made a run for it.
I turned round when I knew I was clear and looked at the police car laying on its roof, still smoking! I sat there for at least a minute waiting for the car to explode but nothing....perhaps this was an indestructable car?
In the end I blew it up with a drive by shooting but perhaps I should have tried to get it on it's wheels and save the car in my garage!

i like jumping on the cars cause they still drive about when your standing on the roof LOL
best thing to do is stand on a car and shoot at it hopefully the driver will panic and you just hold on tight weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

I HAVE RE-ENACTED RONIN AND I'M PROUD OF IT!
I stood on the bonnet of a taxi and shot a few pedestrians as the guy was driving along. Then the cops came after me and one was heading straight for me. So I timed it perfectly and fired my rocket just in front of him. Because he was going so fast, as he blew up, his car flipped over forward, flaming. Oh it was fantastic.
The only difference from this moment and Ronin, is that the car was in front of me rather than me chasing it. Oh and the fact, that I was on the bonnet instead of out the sun roof. But it still looked great regardless. :-D

If you look back on the topics, (view older topics) theres a website where this kid flew his Dodo for 178000 seconds.
If you goto the website and look at the notes he says that you can't get to the observatory....I'd trust that quote as he seems to be a master of the Dodo, I managed to fly for about 80 seconds over the weekend a record for me!

I have managed to fly the dodo into the stadium , and the pitch does not support me.
What happens is you crash through the pitch into a sort of no-mans land , with the pitch above your head.
Run around for a bit and eventually you fall downwards as if from a tall building and land on the pavement outside the stadium entrance.
Weird ... !
