Now, I'm well aware that the vast majority of you are OK, but the instances of PS2 fanboyism are increasing by the day, and to be frank, it's getting out of hand - a bunch of them have recently spilled over to the Ninty forum =(
Now, I'm not saying it's your fault (the ordinary PS2 owners), because it isn't. But what can be done to educate the semi-literate masses who insist on spamming the world with "PS2 r0x0rs it iz da bezt eva" and "GTAVC iz kuhl" night and day like a bunch of intellectually challenged vampires working shifts?
To be honest, I'm sick to death of staring ignorance in the face day after day, and after presenting the facts to these asinine fanboy morons, they promptly disregard everything I've said and repeat their previous statements to fade.
I'm irritated by it, I know many of you are too. What can we do?

The answer is there's nothing we can really do about it.
Topics have been made to make SR aware of the fact that fanboy's are ruining areas of the forum, many memeber just don't post in here anymore or have simply left because they can't be arsed with idiotic responses and topics. However nothing has ever been done about it and banning them will just bring them back as JAT's and make matter's worse, we just have to try and help them (as hard as it is)

Ok seriously, I think the more people who tell the "fanboys" the error of their ways the better. I don't bother going into the ninty or xbox forum because I don't actually own one of these consoles.
I appreciate that there are other consoles on the market, each have their own merits, I've played on an xbox a couple of times and to be frank, it aint that big nor bad. PGR I enjoyed immensly.
Never played on a GC but there's quite a few people in the PS2 forum that own either both or one of the other consoles. They don't act like fanboys mainly because they know they'd get a severe slapping from the rest of us.
I think you'll just have to accept that you'll just have to keep trying to correct them in their fanboyism ways, either that or we'll have to start venturing into the ninty and xbox forums.
