Nintendo have been told by some heavyweight financial advisers that they should develop software for other platforms or face financial ruin.
It would appear that the poor GC sales are starting to bite with developers getting increasingly worried about the GC continued poor performance and the lack of software sold because of this.
Producing for Xbox and inparticular PS2 would add a much bigger user base up instead of the limited one they have now makes sense to me. If Nintendo was able to make more money from software they might be able to produce more quality titles rather than the tripe they do at the moment, hell it might even help Nintendo to sell more GC.
The Getaway is original?
Pro-Evo 2 is original?
Burnout 2 is orignal?

Name some real original PS2 games, you know entirely new concepts that haven't been used before!
ie
Pikmin
Now go away and play with your PS2, you spend all day worshipping it, but never seem to play it, you're always on here writing crap!
Harsh reality check here Top Score, you're not gonna get anywhere in life by calling people Fanboys for no aparrant reason when you are clearly one yourself!
Play games and stop being such a tart...
You can't get gaming perfection delivered to your console every week.
Great games take time, so some waiting has to be endured, but that
waiting will be worth it for great games like Metroid Prime, Zelda,
Mario Kart etc.
Here is an idea instead of spending money on the same old cr@p, zelda and mario why not do something original you know the way Nintendo used to be.
You voice is too high and squeeky, my dog jumped off the floor though at the sound of your voice...
Wait until they drop, then you'll see a whole new concept to life...
It applies to you too!
Theres more to life than your PS2...
"there are some great games coming in the next few months"
Don't you ever get bored waiting?
The commercial success (or lack of it) does make a difference. If the console only attracts a small number of customers, the user base will be too small, and developers will start losing interest in it. It won't be worth it for them to make games for that format. This has already started to happen, although the fact that it has happened is of more concern than the actual games lost. What happens when more popular games get axed from the format? Where will your next "killer app" title's come from?
You're such a tart...
Go on, make love to your console!
