Mario and Zelda on PS2 as strange as that sounds their could be more truth in it than you think.
Nintendo have been told by some heavyweight financial advisers that they should develop software for other platforms or face financial ruin.
It would appear that the poor GC sales are starting to bite with developers getting increasingly worried about the GC continued poor performance and the lack of software sold because of this.
Producing for Xbox and inparticular PS2 would add a much bigger user base up instead of the limited one they have now makes sense to me. If Nintendo was able to make more money from software they might be able to produce more quality titles rather than the tripe they do at the moment, hell it might even help Nintendo to sell more GC.

If a fanboy can sit down and evaluate each console after extensive play, and formulate decent opinions, then I am a fanboy.
If a fanboy enjoys each console he plays and doesn't start argumentative topics in order to annoy other people, then I am a fanboy.
However, I don't believe a fanboy is capable of the above. Therefore, you are the fanboy you misguided fool, and your attitude towards me doesn't help your case.

Top Score, the GameCube is selling a hell of a lot better than the Nintendo 64 and there are plenty of decent games out, even now!
Sure, we have to wait for some of the new ones to be released, but that doesn't mean the console is necessarily dead.
Nintendo have already announced a new console and a new handheld are in development to try and compete in the next generation of consoles which are due out around 2005, and there are currently a huge amount of games in production for Nintendo's current consoles in comparison to the Nintendo 64.
If you want to continue your fanboyistic comments, please do, for no one shall take much notice and will argue back. After all, I own a GameCube and an Xbox, and my brother a Playstation 2 and I shall play and enjoy whatever I like whether you think I'm cool or playing a 'dead horse' or not.
The fact is, I play GameCube more than any other console, the Xbox is second, and the Playstation 2, despite my brother having many Final Fantasy games (on PSX and 2) and the GTA games, is currently last, less played than my Dreamcast.
