Nintendo have been told by some heavyweight financial advisers that they should develop software for other platforms or face financial ruin.
It would appear that the poor GC sales are starting to bite with developers getting increasingly worried about the GC continued poor performance and the lack of software sold because of this.
Producing for Xbox and inparticular PS2 would add a much bigger user base up instead of the limited one they have now makes sense to me. If Nintendo was able to make more money from software they might be able to produce more quality titles rather than the tripe they do at the moment, hell it might even help Nintendo to sell more GC.

Or if you removed all of Sony's profits from other area's, quite frankly, Nintendo are the only company of the three to MAKE money from selling CONSOLES. If Sony sell a PS2 at 170 quid each, and they lose lets say, 80 quid on each one sold, Multiply that by, 50 million, (the stat Top Score came up with for number of PS2's CREATED), that equates to 4 billion lost, I wouldn't say that's a profit...

But we're not though, are we? If we removed Windows etc. from Microsoft what would there profits be like? Eh?
Don't believe anything until it has already happened.
Also, nintendo said the day they leave making consoles is the day they stop making games. mwahahaha
And Nintendo made the most profit last year, so shh.

Actually, they were fined for keeping the prices high in the REST of Europe, though they have every right to have high prices here, the majority of the public is highly ignorant and many probably haven't heard of Zelda, Metroid or F-Zero (The latter which I can prove to you). So, no=-one buys stuff here, so, they need to make monjey, why not (but they haven't)
Top Score is actually one of us - a regular or very likely a notable, who's having a tremendous laugh at our expense by baiting the Nintendo owners.
WE LOVE YOU TOP SCORE! TOP SCORING!
