I'm thinking of picking up a GC as soon as tomorrow.
A couple that haven't stopped breathing might now be thinking "why the change of heart ?"
The most obvious reason is that I have flu right now so chances are its the words of a sick bloke ranting.
The other is that I've been laying in bed thinking back to games I played such as Metroid and Zelda and how there are times I'd like to play them again (but of course in they're new forms). Afterall, at the end of the day I am a gamer, not a fanboy and I've grown up with Nintendo games.
I might also look into a Gameboy Advance SP towards the end of the month with some of the classic Snes games that are out or coming out.
If I get a GC, this is what I'm thinking of grabbing...
Black GC
Extra controller (black of course)
Resident Evil
Resident Evil Zero
Mario Sunshine
Advanced scart lead (for best pic and sound quality)
Then of course I'll pick up Metroid Prime and Zelda as they come out. Don't need a memory card as I have the one from when I had the GC before. Anyway, thats the current thing going through my head.
Blame my credit card taunting me while I'm ill for this happening.
Right, well I'm off to ponder more on this and decide on how I'm going to pay for it all if I decide to go shopping tomorrow.
I think.
Animal Crossing (US Import)
Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem
Mario Party 4
Starfox Adventures
Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast
Star Wars Rogue Leader: Rogue Squadron II
Super Monkey Ball 2
Super Smash Bros. Melee
Timesplitters 2
Tony Hawk's 4
You'd do well to get rid of Sonic, and you'll never go wrong with any of those games - they're all brilliant.
The main problem with it is the gun fighting, it's basically a case of hold the button to lock onto enemies and keep hitting fire until they're dead.
It's got a nice Star Wars feel about it though and Jango looks like a total badass. You could certainly do a lot worse than buy Bounty Hunter, the controls are on jango are great and the jetpack is ultra cool.
Trade in Sonic and get Pikmin, believe you'll be suprised how much fun it is. I had massive doubts about the game and whether i'd enjoy it, but then I got my hands on a copy and realised just how funning brilliant it was.
Monkeys!
As for the mag I got - its issue 126 March 2003. Got Sonic on the front. So its the up to date one (till tomorrow).
So far I have a no on the Bounty Hunter game brewing. Oh well, looks like I'll just have the money taken off the Gameboy at the end of the month.

Oh no no no no. Whatever you do, don't get Bounty Hunter. Get Eternal Darkness instead.

Which issue did you get?
I like using the Wavebird controller - just ashame Nintendo didn't sort out the D-pad. Still nice not to have cables everywhere. I have my X-Box set up close by so its nice not to have tons more cables hanging around.
Might have to grab Metroid Fusion when I pick up the SP.
Its really cause of the Snes games that I want to pick up the SP when its released.
Hopes are high for a Secret Of Mana game. ;-)
It really is a good game. Some of the weapons you have are a bit pointless though cos u never really get to use them. but the flamethrower and sniper rifle are good peices of kit. The saber darts are a waste of time. The game has well good bonus material, but then again all star wars games have well good extras.
Its top quality 3rd person shootin till the end!(even though i havnt actually got all the way to the end yet!)
