I'm thinking of picking up a GC as soon as tomorrow.
A couple that haven't stopped breathing might now be thinking "why the change of heart ?"
The most obvious reason is that I have flu right now so chances are its the words of a sick bloke ranting.
The other is that I've been laying in bed thinking back to games I played such as Metroid and Zelda and how there are times I'd like to play them again (but of course in they're new forms). Afterall, at the end of the day I am a gamer, not a fanboy and I've grown up with Nintendo games.
I might also look into a Gameboy Advance SP towards the end of the month with some of the classic Snes games that are out or coming out.
If I get a GC, this is what I'm thinking of grabbing...
Black GC
Extra controller (black of course)
Resident Evil
Resident Evil Zero
Mario Sunshine
Advanced scart lead (for best pic and sound quality)
Then of course I'll pick up Metroid Prime and Zelda as they come out. Don't need a memory card as I have the one from when I had the GC before. Anyway, thats the current thing going through my head.
Blame my credit card taunting me while I'm ill for this happening.
Right, well I'm off to ponder more on this and decide on how I'm going to pay for it all if I decide to go shopping tomorrow.
> What are the mini games in Monkeyball 2 ?
---
Bowling, Golf, Tennis, Football, Race, Dogfight (space battle), Target, Boat-Race, Baseball, Battle, Shot and Billiards.
That's all of them. :-)
Never really thought that much of the first game but i've decided to try it again and buy the sequel tommorow. FOr some reason it just looks more enjoyable to me.
I played the main game occasionally but not as much as the mini games, espically with a few mates over.
I remember the time we'd lose on purpose on Monkey Golf just to hear the Heavy Metal and bang our heads. Hoho. But then we got to Monkey Bowling and that we were serious.
One thing I have realise dthat makes them slightly more longer lasting than other straightforward platfromers and shoot emups is the amount of bomus items, hidden levels and extras that are not too hard to unlock. Both jedi knight and clone wars have pretty good multiplayer aswell.
Buying all four SW GC titles would definately go down well in anyones collection.
My fave shoot em up at the mo is die hard. its just plain brilliant! I would pick it over timesplitters anyday.(realises that soon as he sez this he will be attached by an angry mob of timesplitters two fanatics)
That's ok.
Sorry mate - usually I'd be happy to do a deal like that with you. :-|
Golf
Racing
Fight
Target
Bowling
Tennis
Rowing
Football
Dogfighting
uhh.can't remember the rest.
Then I'll love you.
