Well one way might be to say something that I'm about to say...

I'm thinking of picking up a GC as soon as tomorrow.
A couple that haven't stopped breathing might now be thinking "why the change of heart ?"

The most obvious reason is that I have flu right now so chances are its the words of a sick bloke ranting.

The other is that I've been laying in bed thinking back to games I played such as Metroid and Zelda and how there are times I'd like to play them again (but of course in they're new forms). Afterall, at the end of the day I am a gamer, not a fanboy and I've grown up with Nintendo games.

I might also look into a Gameboy Advance SP towards the end of the month with some of the classic Snes games that are out or coming out.

If I get a GC, this is what I'm thinking of grabbing...
Black GC
Extra controller (black of course)
Resident Evil
Resident Evil Zero
Mario Sunshine
Advanced scart lead (for best pic and sound quality)

Then of course I'll pick up Metroid Prime and Zelda as they come out. Don't need a memory card as I have the one from when I had the GC before. Anyway, thats the current thing going through my head.
Blame my credit card taunting me while I'm ill for this happening.
Right, well I'm off to ponder more on this and decide on how I'm going to pay for it all if I decide to go shopping tomorrow.

Don't forget, there's a lot from the back catalogue you're yet to consider. And then there's the Player's Choice range.

"a princely sum"

that rivals my favourite word from Baldur's Gate - "coin".

"It will require a large amount of coin..."

"How can I repay you?"
"Why coin of course"

I could go on forever...

I got Radiant Silvergun yesterday. It cost me a princely sum but it was worth every sweet penny.

I'm looking forward to a barren spell, to be honest.

Maybe I'll get a chance to actually play through some of my games...

Call me sick but I'd like to see a mini game called 'Monkey Knife Fight'. ;-)

The old Sonic games are good, I just don't feel too happy shelling out full whack for a bunch of straight Megadrive ports. I mean when Nintendo released Mario All Stars on the Snes, at least they updated the graphics and stuff a touch to make it feel a little more up to date while still playing the same.

Anyway I traded it in today and I also grabbed an extra game too. I got Monkeyball 2 and Godzilla. I have a varied little collection of 5 games in the space of 2 days. Not bad. ;-)
Mind you the only 2 GC games I want from here now are Metroid Prime next week and Zelda when it comes out. Otherwise I'll be waiting for F-Zero, Mario Kart and Mario 128.
Oh and the Resi games that are on the way, oh and Final Fantasy. Unofrtunatly I don't think most of these are due out for awhile so my GC faces a bit of a barren spell soon.

Mind you my X-Box has a few games on the way so overall my game buying probably won't slow down overall.

Hmmmmmmmm, think I'll swap Sonic for Monkeyball 2 tomorrow. Looks like it has some fun mini games, adds a little variation to my collection, easy controls for the wife and a game that offers some multiplayer laughs. ;-)
