Well one way might be to say something that I'm about to say...

I'm thinking of picking up a GC as soon as tomorrow.
A couple that haven't stopped breathing might now be thinking "why the change of heart ?"

The most obvious reason is that I have flu right now so chances are its the words of a sick bloke ranting.

The other is that I've been laying in bed thinking back to games I played such as Metroid and Zelda and how there are times I'd like to play them again (but of course in they're new forms). Afterall, at the end of the day I am a gamer, not a fanboy and I've grown up with Nintendo games.

I might also look into a Gameboy Advance SP towards the end of the month with some of the classic Snes games that are out or coming out.

If I get a GC, this is what I'm thinking of grabbing...
Black GC
Extra controller (black of course)
Resident Evil
Resident Evil Zero
Mario Sunshine
Advanced scart lead (for best pic and sound quality)

Then of course I'll pick up Metroid Prime and Zelda as they come out. Don't need a memory card as I have the one from when I had the GC before. Anyway, thats the current thing going through my head.
Blame my credit card taunting me while I'm ill for this happening.
Right, well I'm off to ponder more on this and decide on how I'm going to pay for it all if I decide to go shopping tomorrow.

And Product Number 03.

There are currently no plans to release them on other formats, they said it wasn't totally ruled out; in case they don't sell very well they will be ported to get some more cash.

Do you mean the other 4 Resident Evil games?

Or the other titles - Viewtiful Joe, Dead Phoenix, Killer 7 and the other one? I heard a rumour that Capcom said they wouldn't be GC exclusive. But, before you cut me down for it, it was a ruumour so I'm not sure whether it's true or not.

Do you not have Resi & Zero yet then?

The beginning of Zero is awesome, you have to start it late at night.

And you seem to be another person who wants a GC just for the AAA exclusives, in which case you should be looking into getting the Capcom 4 when they're released.

FIFA 2003 isn't a bad game. I quite like the arcade feel of it. Although you can still take a defender and runs through the opposition if you keep twisting and turning.

Veron's spin is particularly good. So is Hot Shot City.

In other news, SpearmintRhino's on Tottenham Court Road (I once went there...ahem) has been warned by a Magistrate that it came within a hairs breadth of losing its' license after dancers were found to be performing "indecent" acts on stage.

I think I might venture there again.

Oh, and if you want to get TimeSplitters 2 - get that on Cube too. Fantastic game, which is best on Nintendo's machine.

Lazy EA yet again. If they wanted to, they could have made the Cube's loading times just as short. But no. They do just about the same as the PS2.

Just a point on the subject of multi-format games.

Having played Fifa 2003 on both Cube and XBOX (the only game I've played on both, and hence my only basis for fair comparison), I found that the game played better on the Cube, but (by some distance) loaded the matches faster on the XBOX.

A lot of arguments go back and forth about the controller, and I have to say I find that third party controllers are far superior to the official ones, yet I find that the Cube controller is *so* much better that it makes the gaming experience more enjoyable.

Any comments as a die hard XBOX luvver?

Resident Evil 2 is out in May, while the third is pencilled in for June. Oh, and even if you do take those points into consideration, there's still quite a few top titles you haven't looked at. For example:

-Animal Crossing (US Import)
-Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem
-Mario Party 4
-Starfox Adventures
-Super Smash Bros. Melee
-Pikmin
-Wave Race: Blue Storm

The bottom two are just £17.99 off Play.com, half what they're worth in my opinion. And Super Smash Bros. Melee will be under £20.00 on April 4th - a MUST. So if you're worried about a dry spell, check out some of these.

Well I've totally completed Luigi's Mansion and I don't really wanna buy it again. Rogue Leader is good but again, been through it and don't fancy playing it again.
Thing is, most multi format titles I'll end up getting on X-Box too. Anyone know when the next Resi Evil games are due out ?
