Hi guys,

Freeola is planning an ADSL launch in the new year. I would appreciate it if could post any comments as to what you'd like to see with this service.

If you are having a particularly good or bad time with an existing provider then tell us what impresses or annoys you and we'll try and incorporate as much as possible into our own offering.

What do you currently pay and is it monthly, quarterly or all up-front.

Does your current provider block certain ports?

Does it go very slow at night?

Look forward to reading your comments.

I'd like to see a nice, compatable service at a very affordable price...

Currently, they charge around £120 for installation, then £120 qtr. That is definately out of my price reach. You should try free installation, and £15 a quarter, trust me; you would get a great deal of business from the Dial-Up users.

I am sick to my stomach with the slow downloads and long waiting times, I need some fibre optic in my household...

Muhey.

For Freeola to be competetive they'd have to be < £30/month. Seeing as a new line and a standard 24/7 ISP on dialup costs around £25, £30 is a very good deal.

Do you really think so??

I see what you mean, but using todays prices, 1p per min, but with the faster connection, I recon I'd only spend about £3.50 ish, and that is way better than £40 ... don't you think???

I'm not bothered about the dialing up or anything, just the speed of what I wanna do ... but to get it at £30/m .... don't think so some how :o)
