If anyone still cares about GTA3, then I've made this topic so that if anyone needs hel on a certain bit on the game then thay don't have to make a new topic.
And you can also ask questions.
If no one cares about GTA3 anymore then just let it sink to the bottom :D

So, has anyone actually collected all of the hidden packages in the game?
If so, what do you get for it if anything?

Jive. Its a bug in the game. Lots of gamers have had it. Sometimes there just arnt any purple nines - its luck! First time i had them, then i started again and they wernt there. So now i have started yet again!

Lucky you.....at least you can do the mission! Some of us here have been trying to complete that for ages and just can't find any of the purple boogers!

Advice to you is, keep trying, get either a fast car or a really strong vehicle to do this in....maybe a police enforcer.

Just keep trying, if your car gets totalled get out and run and get another one.....if you can make it.

Also drive around for a while until you find a big group of them and try taking them all out in one hit, this'll reduce your numbers and then drive round picking the rest off one by one.....good luck.

I started again recently, and have just unlocked the 3rd Island last night (37% completed) so I thought great let's get over there and do that mission.

Big trouble, no purple nines! WHERE ARE THEY????

I decided to do another normal mission and then retry it, again....no purple nines!

I'm getting really hacked off with this but hopefully it'll sort itself out soon.....please!

I luckily have missed that bug. I did start to start it again but i accidently corrupted my file by turning off my ps2 in the middle of the save:(

Yeah. I did that first time but decided to start again to get it. Didnt mind though becasue Portland missions are cool. I've since started again, again becasue there were no purple nines! Damn those purple nines, always casuing trouble!

O, i blew tht up b4 i could get it 2 my garage:)

Yer i did it with the bullet proof patriot that you get from Donald Love.

Could anyone do the last mission without using a tank? I tried for a while but then i went and earned a tank from the army. I didn't cheat for any of the missions, but of course i cheated on the actual game to make it better cos some of the cheats are really cool.
