I just can't get into this game like the other champ managers mainly because it is too slow. I only have a 600 mhz processor, but my mate with 2ghz is still having the same problem. I have done a season, but can't be arsed carrying on because of the loading. Once I found myself sitting there for 15 minutes waiting for it to load. Pathetic.

I tried it your way and it didn't work.

But

If you offer a load of cash and then when the team accept go to the offer contract screen but don't offer anything, instead click on the players name on the scrolling news bar at the bottom and click the players screen and withdraw your bid and then make a new bid. £0 if you like and then use the arrows at the top left to go back to the contract negotiations and offer them what they want and if they accept then you get them for whatever sneaky amount you offered to pay.

Well as soon as Giggs returned I've started to find form.
He came on as sub at half time and got man of the match, scored 2 in his next game and has set up a few.

Did you send him to rehab? Last season was similar for me; I lost Giggs to a neck injury, he was out for a good five months. I sent him to rehab, and he came back better then ever, even picking up two player of the month awards.

I lost giggs with a back injury for four months which cost me in valuable games against the main contenders.

Van the man has only scored 15, lately not many goals scored by the team.
Rooney, Solskjaer and Forlan have been playing ok, also in the process of getting Ronaldinho for 12 Million.

Sitting fourth in the league, Fulham doing well in second but I'm only 5 points of the lead. Giggs is back in the next week so hopefully I can still make a challenge for the title.

Hmmm, was 4th with United. Lost van Nistelrooy for one month, and slumped to 12th. His first four games back and he managed 12 goals. Four in his return match, 2 in the next and then two hatricks against the same team in Europe. But, I'm still ninth after 25 games, got two games in hand, with which if I win both, I will be 6th. Don't think I can win the Premiership, but I will almost definatly get myself a Champions League position. Supporters hate me, and the board expect to win the title. Rooney hasn't liked me since day one, literally, and Mido wants to leave. Almost signed Viduka, but the deadline passed, so the transfer was cancelled. Have no dosh in my kitty, so I can only sign players on a free. Got knocked out of the League Cup in the semi's, although I was missing van Nistelrooy. Played Liverpool in the Quarters of the FA Cup and managed a draw, despite being 4 main players down and having O'Shea sent off after 15 minutes. Europe's going well at the moment. Although I'm only in the UEFA Cup, I'm still playing the big teams. Currently in the Quarters after winning 5-0 against that team which Ortega plays for (don't even ask me to spell it). Got Sunderland in the next round, which is good, as they are sitting in 16th in the Premiership. First Leg is at home, so away goal is to my advantage if necessary. Hopefully I'll get a top three finished, with Blackburn top (as they are at the mo) and Arsenal second (they were bottom some 15 matches ago). Also wanna win the FA Cup so that I can get a Community Shield place. Not a bad season though, considering I had some upsets here and there.
