Did anyone else know there was a cheat to get players for absolutely squat?

I found it out by accident; it goes a little like this.

Make an “enquiry” into a player you are interested in. Then, when they let you know what they want, offer it to them. Next, when it comes to the players contract negotiations, click on “offer contract”, then using the control bar on the left click “news”, DO NOT PRESS THE ARROWS! On the news screen click on the player you are interested in and “withdraw bid”, the team now thinks you are no longer dealing with them, and technically your not. Now use the arrows in the top corner to go back to the “offer contract” screen, offer him what he wants and bam, you’re nothing but a dirty rotten cheating scoundrel.

Noticed him yesterday, havn't made an offer for him but I think it would take one of the big named teams and a large offer to get him..

Joaquin, the 20 year old amazingly talented midfielder from Betis, isn't accepting any offers, from any club I've chosen so far, with his agent saying Joaquin is not interested in joining _____. Has anyone managed to get him, at what price, and at what club?

Depends on the player, they only scout when the player is playing so unless they are playing for the team then the scouts can't scout them.

Can anyone help how do I get my scouts to scout a player I click scout player and months later nothing has happened

(i have downloaded the enhancement pack 1) on my version i have chosen England (prem, 1, 2) Brazil, Spain, Japan (all div 1) it is a bit slow but i manage! the problem is whenever it tells me the asian, south american and european manager of the year it's always the same person who comes first, second and third!!! bizarre!
also it always changes the captain to the keeper when i've chosen kavanagh as my leader!!!dammit!

don't worry i love champo, its not really that much of a problem i'm just into metroid at the mo. I'll save champo for some lazy summer afternoons in a couple of weeks time

What leagues you running? What processor do you have and what kind of RAM?

I know the game is slower than previous versions but I haven't had any major problems or issues with it.
