I know there is already a champ man thread but i thought a new one should be made for the new champ man!!

I enquired with Betis about how much they'd want for him. They actually replied with a statement that isn't "He is not for sale at any price", strangely.

He was valued at £18,500,000 at the time, and they wanted £37,000,000.

Strange game.

I didn't offer, as I only had £22,000,000, and although that's quite a lot, they never would've accepted.

So I now wait.

He accepted 70000 a week from chelsea, However i was just lucky he had had a rant at his team mates or somehing so i bid for him and he wanted to leave. The transfer fell through in the end because i delayed it twice cos i couldn't raise the cash in time. But he actually accepted the contract

AfroJoe, you used to play with Juventus didn't you? What's the best place to play Nedved? He's an excellent player, but since the beginning of the season he has only got 6 and 7 ratings. I was thinking about fining him wages, but last time I did that all of the other players turned against me. At the moment I play him behind the strikers on the left, with Ronaldinho on the right.

Torsten Frings for Dortmund was constantly getting 4s in Training throughout the season.

I was Bayern and my mate was Dortmund in a league we did.

Started my game again as I am trying to get the training and tactics sorted. Quite hard getting a good constant rating from players in the training thing.

Anyone got a good 4 star rating throughout the season?

Will try buy that bloke from Betis. Looks quite good.

Yes, especially when you play him next to REALLY good strikers, such as Raul, Morientes, Shevchenko, Ronaldinho, Kluivert, Owen, Van Nistelrooy, Henry etc.

I thought I would buy the strikers from Real Madrid for my Arsenal team, and got them both(!) but I soon discovered how utter crap Ronaldo was. Raul was scoring 1 or 2 a game, Ronaldo scored about 1 or 2 season, because he was always injured, and when he was playing, he missed all the open goals, got tackled in my own half, and he also kept demanding higher wages.

Needless to say, I had the last laugh.

I fined him 2 weeks wages, and sold him to Barcelona for £4million more than what I bought him for. With the money I received I bought Ronaldinho, and he has been in my first team ever since, as an AMF player.

The fans crowded outside at Ronaldos joining of the team, to sell him would cause havok I think.

Going to train Ronaldinho into a midfield role and take things from there.
