It's been reported in a variety of sources today, that Juan Sebastian Veron has a get out clause in his conrtact which enables him to leave old trafford at the end of the season.
Apparently, he is initially on a 'one year trial period' at the moment, with a buy-out clause set at around £32 million. The united board have officially denied such rumours, but one thing which is not in doubt is that Veron is not happy where he is. Personally, I think getting rid of him would be a good thing. Not only has he been unimpressive for the majority of the games he's taken part in this season, but United have changed their formation and style of play in order to fit him into the squad. I think United will cash in on Veron at the end of the season, so the new manager can use the money to bring three defenders.
I mean, Irwin is in his last season. Blanc will be gone at the end of this season. And Ronny Johnson (great player) is just permantly injured.
I don't think the English game suits Veron. He's a class player, but I think his style of play is better suited to the Spainish league. I predict he will sign for Barcalona.

It was reported today that Juventus have offered Edgar Davids in part-exchange for Veron. This was in the daily star though...
Being a Man Utd fan I AGREE!!! That Veron has messed up united's midfield and the usually deadly attack!! WHY DOES FERGIE STIL PLAY 4-4-1-1!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's never gunna work!!!!! You need at least 2, sometimes 3 strikers to score 2 goals or more in europe nowadays, i think!!! He's gotta sort out the formation!! I didn't even see the point in buying veron unless someone else was going!! And I think Yorke should go NOW!!!! He looks even slower than me (and that's slow!!!) and he had to settle for a midfield role in the arsenal cup match, with the reserves. And being the oldest player on te pitch, he wasn't even captain!! What does he have left at United??? Cole's better, and I'm sure Jordan will give him something to do with his money if he does go. That's all he's got left, one 'freak' and 2 pogo balls!!
