SO SOLID SNAKE
As we are all aware, the next Metal Gear Solid episode is probably one of the most awaited games of all time. Seemingly put back forever, Metal Gear Solid 2 will eventually see a European launch in February and from information on its plot and characters, it looks like there will be more than a few shocks in store.
The one major hint given by the developers is that there will be more than one playable character, allowing them to concentrate on more than just the famous Snake, or does it? They remind us that Solid Snake is just a code name after all. Whatever happens, there will be many games players enthralled by the sneaky antics of Snake and co. early next year.

Tekken 4: Playstation 2
Tekken has been a huge gaing experience to many. it has had many different sequels all with newer backgrounds, FMVs and ameplay. Now However we have something more exciting. The return of Kazuya. i beleive this would be a great game just by watching the FMV in which it shows the return of this mad person full of anger.
Its Not Just him but many new characters are also coming out and with the gameplay getting better and better it may actually rival out its competitors such as Dead Or Alive (DOA) and Virtua Fighter. Dead or Alive has been out for some time now and still in the Top charts in Most countries. The gameplay was really fun with the background being altered by the opponents as they fight and this added realism to the game.
It really is a great game i mean compare Tekken to Tekken 4 When realeased and just see the difference for yourselves. a Truly Awsome Fighter it is. The only draw back of all Tekken games to me was the speed of characters. It was just so Slow. Hoever if they ever realise and create the game woth the speed of Dead Or Alive (which was a fast game) i beleive it would be so awsome it would definitly prove for number 5!!!!

Sega Officially Announce the DIY ISP for Europe
In an official press release Sega Europe have finally confirmed once and for all that it will be replacing existing Dreamkey 1.0, 1.5 and 2.0 browser software for its Dreamcast console with a new version that will allow European users to select their own Internet Service Provider when going online with their favourite Dreamcast games.
As an extra incentive, their DreamArena portal service, previously only accessible to Dreamcast users, will have new content added and be merged with their main internet website making it accessible to PCs and other platforms too.
Only Spain and Portugal are still in doubt as Sega works on discussions with local ISPs to provide service to Dreamcast users in those countries, but who cares when you can now play Phantasy Star Online against the Germans at no cost if you connect with a free ISP of your choice?
No date has been set by Sega for the release of the Dreamcast's new browser software, but as soon as we know, you'll know.

Nintendo Say GameCube Is Fastest Selling Console!
Interestlingly-worded Nintendo press release claims victory over Xbox "Hurah!"
Nintendo are claiming that Gamecube is "the fastest-selling home video game console of this generation outselling both the overhyped x-box and ps2"
In its first week (Stateside), over 500,000 Gamecubes were sold, at a rate nearly double that of Microsoft's Xbox and at least 25 per cent faster than the launch of Sony's Playstation 2 last year.
Nintendo also say that Luigi's Mansion has also become the most popular console launch game ever (now is'nt that a surprise!), with the rate of sales beating even that of Super Mario 64 (Yes you heard right!), which launched with N64 in 1996.
Around 590,000 Gamecubes made their way to shops in the US (with approximately 100,000 going to Canada and Latin America and another 75,000 to US rental outlets), virtually all of which are now sold out.
well done Nintendo! lets hope that we have just as good a launch when the gamecube reaches Blighty!

Konami are also on the piste, bringing ESPN Winter X Games Snowboarding to the Gamecube. It will join the likes of SSX Tricky, Dark Summit, and possibly the sequel to Nintendo's own 1080 on the platform, but promises to take a more realistic approach to the sport.
Does this mean no more dazzling tricks? Knowing Konami they have a trick or two up their sleeves to make this a title to keep our eyes on. That's if they're not blinded by the sun reflecting from the snow.

We interrupt this topic to bring you a special news bulletin…a short while ago, another great PS2 title entered the games industry, and that title is...Grand Theft Auto III.
Just look at this history ladies and gentleman...
Grand theft Auto was one of the best titles on both the PC and the PlayStation. It was all about stealing vehicles, killing people, robbing places, doing jobs around the city, you name it.
Then they made GTA London, which was a great display of carnage throughout the London roads. It was not much of a difference to that of the first instalment, but it was great and another big hit title to grace the console world.
Then came GTA2. It was more or less the same. Like GTA London, there was not much of a difference in this one either.
Now, there’s something even better. Something even greater, something spectacular, something...something different in fact.
GRAND THEFT AUTO III…
This time it’s on PlayStation 2 and in a 3D environment. Forget the old birds-eye-view of the Grand Theft Auto universe. Prepare for a stunning 3D display if levels, taking your missions to the limit.
It’s time for Grand Theft Auto III!
The best hit-and-run type of game there will ever be. Until of course GTA4 is released…
