"10 Favourite Pokemon"

Sorry I know this is pretty cack but I thought it'd be interesting to see everyones 10 favourite Pokemon. :-)
Ok, my list is in no particular order and this list is about picking your favourites - as in their looks and general abilities in battles. So don't go thinking you have to pick 10 that would make a well balanced - they can be all fire types if your favourites tend to all be that type. :-)
Anyway, heres mine (some of you might not know some of these as they're in Sapphire and Ruby)...

Cinnabar island has been destroyed, the safari went out of business, the morgue closed, the city with the casino's had become filthy with polution, viridian forest had been pretty much cut, all the caves had collapsed in some way (especially the one that Mewtwo used to live in), the Elite 4 had become weak and "Gary" (your old rival from Red/Blue/Yellow) had become deep and meaningful rather than the cocky little brat you used to enjoy hammering...

... sniff...

You leave the place for three years and it just falls to pieces... :'-(

Still, atleast they got that Powerstation going again! :-)

In other news, I decided I had enough money to order an SP and Pokemon Ruby last night, despite having just spent about £40 on CDs and £30 on Ikaruga. Should be playing Ruby in bed at night by wednesday :D

I remember when you beat gold/silver, you got to go through the old areas again. It would have been nice if the new games had done a similar thing with all the other pokemon being available to catch in these areas.
Hate that pokemon Lombre - the one that looks like some skank crap mexican.

I really like some of the new pokemon, but I can't help missing my Houndoom, Steelix, Charizard and Lugia. :-( Among others.

I liked Ampharos, this electric giraffe creature in gold/silver. I am playing through sapphire right now.. it is really really good. Import now if you havent already, as GBAs are region free if you didn't know.
My current R/S team is
Combusken: Lv26
Breloom: Lv25
Aron: Lv 23
Kirlia: Lv21
Makuhita: Lv14
Whismur: Lv13

My main complaints about R/S would be that it has done away with the nice day/night feature from G/S and that you cannot trade monsters from previous versions. And that 100 odd pokémon are uncatchable.

Pokemon is for girls and boys ages like.. 7.

Nah, its addictive, really addictive. I even bought a Gameboy to play it, then never actually bought it.. maybe I should get round to that..
