That means, by the time you get your GameCube, I'll have played all the "big" PS2 titles we're all getting excited about, all the unknown titles we're REALLY getting excited about and probably a load of other ace little gems yet to be announced. Bear in mind MGS2 is confirmed as being released in February, here.
And you'll have... nothing. And when you do get it, you'll have no where near as much. No Zelda, no Mario, a merely "good" Luigi game, less than good WaveRace, half a dozen other titles and of course, Super Monkey Ball which might also be on the PS2 by then.
Undoubtably one of you'll come up with the "I like Nintendo" argument which is fine. However, you play games that don't exist and still might be over a year away (we all know what Zelda releases are like). So, your choice but I can only really see the hardcore Nintys backing up the GameCube in the UK at least. Add to that the oh-so-imminent Christmas and Sony's immense marketing might, I think UK Nintys have a problem.
But I just saw this on GameSpot:
"Bear In The Big Blue House" confirmed for GameCube. LOL!!
"Sharing is a good thing!"
:D
Je suis un pour du douche dal.
Bloody Fench... why can't they speak English!
Game: What do you mean, 'POLITICALLY CORRECT'?

Erm...Red Faction came out first on PS2.
And also, Dues Ex is said to have huge improvements from the PC version, as they've listened to all the complaints they got.
Max Payne looks amazing too...according to OPSM2 it plays really well.
And 007 Agent Under Fire was a 'most wanted' game in one mag...can't remember which though.
Goldeneye offered a great multiplayer.
The only thing PDark really specialised in was weapons (and a main reason about why people bought the game.)
Single player mode was nothing brilliant in either of them.
Also, Red Faction is quite a longish game.
But ah well, the best game ever will be out Feb 22nd, only on PlayStation 2. It got an awesome 9.6 from the hard to please GameSpot, so I guess that proves it.
Eternal Darkness (Devil May Cry plays like a gem, so this will struggle against this.)
I was going to say Dinosaur Hunter, but isn't that based on the characters from Lylat Wars??
Perfect Dark 2 (not even confirmed)
Rogue Leader (this will be good, but Racer II will keep me entertained.)
Any more that aren't at least a year away (after the release)??
Now all we need is a long post from Cooky!

Oh puuuurlease, you could use that argument with the N64, but have you honestly seen the Gamecube release schedule?
The only big genre Nintendo aren't catering for yet are realistic driving games, which is no big problem, if you speak too most people who will be buying the console I think you will find that they would much rather be playing Mario Kart than one of these "realistic" racers.
Sony offer a wide variety of genres, while with

How the heck can you say that, i'm gonna ask again have you actually seen the GC release schedule? Okay they're are quite few Miyamoto "classics" scheduled for release, but for every one cutesy adventure you've got at least five more serious games.
FPS' is the only other one type
> Nintendo are okay in,
Okay in? HA HA
and Sony are probably better. Red Faction, Deus Ex and Max
> Payne are class games.
Oh purleeeeease Red Faction while i'm sure it was a great game was nothing out of the ordinary it stole more gameplay aspects from other titles than you can shake a big black brick at, as for the other 2 PC conversions, no big deal there, i've also heard that the PS2 version of Max Payne is looking a bit, how shall we say on the crap side. As for Deus Ex that's been out for so long on the PC it's embarrasing.
why wait 2 years for a fat plumber.
look what happened to the saturn.
And I KNOW IT WAS OPINION BASED!!! I actually said that it was, I put in brackets 'in my opinion' or something like that. I wasn't saying that it was 'right' or 'wrong' I was saying it was how I felt.
Anyway, by Christmas you may have all those titles, but I'll have saved a bundle of cash by not buying a PS2 and games, and I'll be safe in the knowledge that a GC with all the incredible (incredible FOR ME!!! YES IT IS AN OPINION!) games I can afford and more coming to it. So that's that. I want a GC because for ME it has the most incredibel games. Maybe the PS2 has more incredible games for YOU, but this is MY OPINION!
Anyway, I think you are being closed minded about Nintendo games. They may have those cute graphics, but I'll bet they have much more depth than your average PS2 title.
Sony offer a wide variety of genres, while with Nintendo all I seem to see is Miyamoto's games, which all have 'cartoonie' graphics and are based on fantasy worlds. FPS' is the only other one type Nintendo are okay in, and Sony are probably better. Red Faction, Deus Ex and Max Payne are class games.
