That means, by the time you get your GameCube, I'll have played all the "big" PS2 titles we're all getting excited about, all the unknown titles we're REALLY getting excited about and probably a load of other ace little gems yet to be announced. Bear in mind MGS2 is confirmed as being released in February, here.
And you'll have... nothing. And when you do get it, you'll have no where near as much. No Zelda, no Mario, a merely "good" Luigi game, less than good WaveRace, half a dozen other titles and of course, Super Monkey Ball which might also be on the PS2 by then.
Undoubtably one of you'll come up with the "I like Nintendo" argument which is fine. However, you play games that don't exist and still might be over a year away (we all know what Zelda releases are like). So, your choice but I can only really see the hardcore Nintys backing up the GameCube in the UK at least. Add to that the oh-so-imminent Christmas and Sony's immense marketing might, I think UK Nintys have a problem.

How dare you use Yoshi's name in vain, take that back right now.
:P

I hope you're right although it's not so much as a rumour as the NGC magazine (who are very pro-Nintendo) who actually saw this as a good thing!
I don't like the sound of it but it might not be true.
I certainly hope that it isn't.
Nintendo or Nintardo?
The future's in their hands!

I don't think that Campaign exists. It was probably a rumour started by somebody wanting to mock Nintendo for making a short game.
Oh and anyone that has seen Super Smash running on video would realise that the game looks fantastic regardless of the viewpoint. Very promising game.

Not exactly impressive, is it?
Fair enough about Fifa and Simpsons road rage but we both know that if the machine was out when the PS2 was that both consoles would have got those games.
Oh by the way I hope you know that just because i'm a 'Ninty' i'm going to argue all your points just for arguments sake :-P
Smash Brothers, yes it does have 2D backgrounds but I think that's because with a proper 3D one it just wouldn't work, it wouldn't be the same would it, not as fun and so on. Just because it as the power dosn't necesarily mean it has to be in full gloryfied 3D.
Pikmin, probably not to everyones taste but what is, I like it seems like a great game.
As for Luigis Mansion I don't think it's repetitive but it's just short and dosn't hold much of a replay value, personally I don't like the sound of this game anyway. I suppose this is part of Nintendos new 'lets make it easier for kiddies' campaign.
Gah!
Face it, the Gamecube will have better games.

The games ruined by 2D backgrounds? ha ha do they actually affect the way the game plays in anyway?
Luigi's mansion not like Mario 64-Supposedly

That's a very poor selection of the releases, if you really want me too list all the games coming out for the GC then I........won't cause there's too many and I haven't got the time. But trust me it's just as "varied" as PS2's mediocre line up.

Not necessarily, a lot of companys put a lot more

Plenty of games

But it already has!! In America anyway.
All I'm expecting is another enticing plot, and the same gameplay and graphics that were in the demo. I'll be extremely happy with that.
