So, I decided after looking at this thread, it needed editing.
Morrowind discussion, discuss about Morrowind.
Pretty straight forward really.
Tell us your Morrowind storys, cool stuff you've done ect.
I love the game, its fooking brilliant. Its an RPG on acid. You get to do whatever you like in a fantasy gaming world.
I'm still my same lil "naked" character, hes cool though cause hes fast. Very fast. And has uber unarmoured skills.
Tip for Borat (like Goatboy said): -
- Don't start on the "main" quest yet, get yourself into some guilds
- The theives guild is the easiest in my opinion, i'm nearly at the top rank in that guild.
And I have a meaty bow that'd kill you all.
An Argonian, I took Imperial Cult Quests first, then Fighter's Guild and have only just started the Blades Quests from the half-naked junkie man in Balmora (Caius?).
Consequently I have 4314 gold, Orcish Armour (32 rating Cuirass etc), 2 enchanted weapons, a silver longsword, level 7 skills and can breathe underwater.
*Nobody* is a threat to me anymore, even despatched 4 smugglers in a cave system through sheer hardness.
Do side quests before you start The Blades stuff, otherwise you'll be fighting rats for 20 mins and almost die. I did that quests and cleaved 'em with 1 chop each thanks to working for Guilds for a long time.
This game rules

Either that or I don't like Wood Elves and Level 28 pixies and all that kind of twaddle.
:D
In Morrowind [especially at the beginning when you are wet behind the ears] you have to think in "real" terms instead of "I'm the daddy of the gameworld" terms.
You're a weakling in a land of warriors, rogues, wizards and deadly creatures.
Those rats are big.
Try the Thieves Guild - it's more of a gentle starting-point.
It really wouldn't be as easy as you think to hit such a small, fast moving target.
> I tried to like it, I really did. But everytime I tried, I got bored
> and decided that scraping my finger nails down a mile long blackboard
> would probably be more fun.
Thats okay, I'm sure their a Telletubbies or Bob the Builder game out their for you ;)
i thought i'd take a look at the manual and came across the map (hur hur). the size of this game is unreal.
and I'm still mincing about trying (unsuccessfully) to kill rats
At the beginning, always choose a weapon which your character is most skilled at.
The combat does get better as your abilities go up.
