Morrowind is a fantastic RPG if you have the time for it.

So, I decided after looking at this thread, it needed editing.

Pretty straight forward really.

Just buy the Diamond from this woman in Balmora.

Cannot remember her name -some alchemist I think.

argh for gods sake.

i'm trying to like this game but it doesn't help you enough. i joined the thieves guild and went to carry out my first mission. how the hell do you steal those diamonds without anyone seeing?

it's not a very forgiving game, you get killed for sneezing for gods sake. I recall one time I went to caesius' house and pressed the use button at the wrong time, instead of sleeping I stole his pillow, for which he started wasting me.

Woo just sold 3 gems with Scamps in them for 15,000 septims. Yay!

And I found those Boots of Blinding speed, They rock. But. The screen darkens so much! I definatly need to improve my Magic Resistance....

Still, my speed attribute is at 300 when I have them on :P

My character's a Breton and my star-sign is The Mage, so I think my character has quite a high magic resistance already. When I use the boots in daylight my vision isn't too bad. I can hardly see a thing at night though.

Just been looking at that site Venom was on about.

It looks like you need a decent Magic Resistance to counter the blindness from the boots.

Yeah, there's one down side, your vision is darkened when you put them on. But there's probably ways to counter-act it, like a "night-eye" constant effect item.

Constant Effect
Blind 100%
Fortify Speed 200pts on Self

Woah.
Now I can run like Lynford Christie with his breeches on fire.
