Recently i decided it was time to upgrade my PC and after having quite a few expensive quotes i decided to build one myself. It was actually amazing how much money i saved and how much fun i had, i would have done it sooner if i knew how easy it was.

Is there anyone else out there who, like me has seen the light?

Never trust politicians either- former Dorking Labour MP Derek Edge (now dead) tried to sell me some really dodgly PC spares once.

I have been to computer fairs (fayres?) many times, my general opinion of them is that you run the risk of meeting some right crooks, but on that particular occasion I resisted purchasing something that wasn't quite right and got it online instead. Capiche?

Some Labour politician who used to live down my road (Who died recently) once tried to sell me some dodgy IT equipment. Worse than the stuff at an IT fair- Labour MP's garage sale.

true. my current pc was bought at a computer fayre. they sold it with 512MB ram, but they only gave us 256. we came back after realising, and they gave it us. they looked jamaican too. very dodgy.
