Using optical discs as the media could be a very big mistake.
It's generally accepted that the next GB will use 128MB carts.
That's enough for Ocarina of Time four times, with no loading times or any of that crap. And you won't need a memory card.

All they need to do is improve all the specs to N64 standards or just below... that way we might get some N64 games on the system.
It needs to be cart so it can be backwards compatable and doesn't require a memory card.

That would be rather expensive to implement, though, which'd mean an even steeper price for the handheld, which nobody wants.

Mario 64 would of course be resized for the small screen.
But the GBA carts could fit Mario 64... hec the GBA carts can fit Ocarina of Time.

I've suddenly gotten into that Final Fantasy series...
Boycott Golden Sun!
It rips off FF3 (Snes) in every way (which isn't so bad in itself, nothing like a quality alternative) and charges you the price of 4 GAMES (which is a criminal rip-off) for an adventure which isn't as big or complex or compelling as Final Fantasy 3, despite the Snes game being 10 years older or "more out of date" than the "brand new state of the art" Golden Sun!!
Still, if it's backwards compatible with the entire PSOne catalogue then I might just get one...
