Oh dear.
And the Playstation name can sell.
Sega Game Gear released two years after the original Game Boy - it had a full colour, back lit screen and the design of the GBA. It lost.
Even today on Newsround:
"Good news for gamers; Sony are releasing a portable Playstation, and there are loads of new exclusives for the Playstation 2"
er, hello? GBASP?
Even more exclusive games on the GC? And the XBox too?
The Playstation name has complete media dominance.
And when the PSP is released the game stores will slap it's name across all the windows and people will rush in and buy it without question.

Why, sure, it's cheaper, but it'll be a bit, bigger....

Steering wheel? On a portable console? It's getting less portable by the second.

YOu've said this above, but, GC disks would be better, I can just imagine playing Mario Sunshine and WW on it.

So far the only good suggestion.

Still not that portable.

Like before?
It sure is going to be interesting.

That is because the BBC has and always will be completely biased towards the majority playstation loving vote.
Search for gamecube on their site and the first articles I got up were how Sony had beaten it in the console wars and how nintendo had just got "a very big fine".
And what the hell were you doing watching Newsround anyway?
And what do you think they want to buy now?
