What's up with that?

Anyone who's paid any attention to the Ninty side of E3 this year would have to be a fanboy to not agree that it's been a total non-event. An extreme lack of any really big announcements other than some complete cashin Pokemon games and some terrible GBA link-up things.

What's going on with Nintendo?

They say they've adopted a more aggressive approach an then they attend the biggest gaming show in the world and there wasn't a single thing on show that was really good that we hadn't seen before. Sony announce the Playstation portable, new Gran Turismo game, new MGS game, they announce a massive deal with EA for exclusive rights to the online sports line-up. Microsoft unveil Halo 2, Doom 3 amongst other things.

Where's all the amazing 1st party support from Nintendo?

Oh and to rub salt in the wounds, every single person at IGN says that Mario Kart is too slow.

Out of all of the games Kirby Air Ride looks the most promising.

I've said all along that Mario Kart looks less than impressive, it was either gonna feel wrong or be slow and clunky.

As for E3, nothing really struck me as brilliant.

Compared to Sony, Nintendo have had a far better E3. For me anyway.

Yet another GT, and the PSP that really does not interest me at all. Nothing else really. Except for, joy! online EA games. Whereas there seem to be several thigs that have appealed to me from both the Microsoft and Nintendo shows.

Generally don't Nintendo always hold back big anouncements from E3!?!

They normally wait till their own show, SpaceWorld, before making the BIG anouncements!

Nintendo have had an average E3 compared to Microsoft and Sony but thats just my opinion and others will think that Nintendo have had a great E3. To say its the biggest game show in the world Nintendo haven't really pushed the boat out...

Everyone needs a good mix of games.. but do you consider mario kart, f zero kiddy? Every console has something you want that is on E3 but it doesn't mean nintendo was the only one to have a okay-ish e3.

I agree with Tilta I think its been a poor year for the GameCube. From a Microsoft point of view there has been a lot of new games announced and great footage (especially the delicous Halo 2 footage). On top of that Sony announced the PSP, Metal Gear Solid 3 + Gran Turismo 4. The bets thing from this years E3 (in terms of Nintendo) from my point of view is footage from Metal Gear Solid. Although the footage/trailer was in the early stages of development you can see where the title is heading and I can't wait to see more on this game over the coming months.

They need to buy the rights to Battle Royale.

Why?

Watch the film then question me.

Screw all this GBA link up crap. Ninty need more violent games to remove its childish image. That's how its losing the market.
