Anyone who's paid any attention to the Ninty side of E3 this year would have to be a fanboy to not agree that it's been a total non-event. An extreme lack of any really big announcements other than some complete cashin Pokemon games and some terrible GBA link-up things.
What's going on with Nintendo?
They say they've adopted a more aggressive approach an then they attend the biggest gaming show in the world and there wasn't a single thing on show that was really good that we hadn't seen before. Sony announce the Playstation portable, new Gran Turismo game, new MGS game, they announce a massive deal with EA for exclusive rights to the online sports line-up. Microsoft unveil Halo 2, Doom 3 amongst other things.
Where's all the amazing 1st party support from Nintendo?
Oh and to rub salt in the wounds, every single person at IGN says that Mario Kart is too slow.
They just need to speed it up.
I wonder if the demo was of the 50cc cup and that's why it was too slow.....I hope so anyway.
From the footage i've got from the show it looks brilliant.
Nintendo have no doubt got an impressive line-up, there's plenty to get excited about. I nearly pooed myself when I saw actual in game footage of F-Zero , it looks even more impressive than the footage that has been released before E3.
Pikmin 2 is coming on brilliantly. The main problem with this though is it's not really gonna add much to the series, it's basically Pikmin with a few extra bells and whistles. People who enjoyed the original game are no doubt gonna want it, I can't bloody wait for it, but I don't see it really making anyone who ignored the first game take any intrest in the 2nd.
1080 looks brilliant as well, though after watching footage of SSX 3, it's gonna have a real fight on it's hands to be king of the snowboarders. Another good upcoming snowboard game is Amped 2 on the Xbox, that's looking really promising too.
Resident Evil 4 was for me the game of the show, even though there was no hands on or anything like the video looks amazing.
Mario Golf was the biggest let down of the show, i'd much rather play with Tiger's balls thankyou very much.
Wario World looks really good fun but hardly a system seller, more a filler title.
Kirby Air Ride looks visually abysmal, quite what HAL think they're playing at I don't know. COuld be fun all the same but still needs a lot of work.
MGS: TT looks good, though needs a lot of work in the textures department. Still sounding very promising.
Final Fantasy CC is looking very unappealing, so far only been shown in Multiplayer mode but from what i've read it's gonna be another boring GBA link-up game, just on a bigger scale.
So really there's a lot of good stuff there, a lot of stuff that I haven't mentioned. I just feel that E3 was a big nothing.
Well pretty good but if you can basically get most of them on PC!

I've never really like the Metal Gear Solid series and I find shooters like Half Life and Doom boring. If I had an XBox I'd be excited about Halo 2 for sure, it's looks pretty amazing.
Still not sure about Resi 4, haven't seen the video yet and I didn't bother getting Zero, so I'll probably miss that out, too.

Yes, I personaly know that but what I'm saying is, is that if you ask anyone why they don't want a GC, the majority of people answer "It's a kiddies console".
That's exactly what happened when Natbuc didnt have a GC. He said it was for kiddies. When he bought a GC, he bought Mario shortly after and thought it was really good.

Metal Gear 3 is cool but GT 4 nothing spectacular again
