"A half-arsed E3 and Mario Kart's too slow......"

What's up with that?

Anyone who's paid any attention to the Ninty side of E3 this year would have to be a fanboy to not agree that it's been a total non-event. An extreme lack of any really big announcements other than some complete cashin Pokemon games and some terrible GBA link-up things.

What's going on with Nintendo?

They say they've adopted a more aggressive approach an then they attend the biggest gaming show in the world and there wasn't a single thing on show that was really good that we hadn't seen before. Sony announce the Playstation portable, new Gran Turismo game, new MGS game, they announce a massive deal with EA for exclusive rights to the online sports line-up. Microsoft unveil Halo 2, Doom 3 amongst other things.

Where's all the amazing 1st party support from Nintendo?

Oh and to rub salt in the wounds, every single person at IGN says that Mario Kart is too slow.

I think they've sold the rights to those games to a Turkish man living in an igloo...

Blah im not sure though will have to wait for reviews cos im not buying 2 games that are both the same.

As for 1080, it may have a brilliant logo but me thinks SSX 3 will be better.

F-Zero looks amazing, I've seen the video on WW disc, but I mean out of the new arrivals for E3, the idea of stealing abilities at huge speeds is great, who cares what it looks like, it's very early days.

50cc was always easy :D

The GameCube has a great line-up, just the games at E3 that were unveiled, or only had a few shots of them previously, are seemingly disappointing. As for Mario Kart, I wouldn't be surprised if they went the way of XGRA and put a lot more emphasis on weapons rather than speed, although racing around and huge speeds, hitting into penguins is what made Mario Kart such a blast.

I'll get Mario Kart, because regardless of how much of a step down (or up) form the series, it'll still be a great laugh, I just need to see something about it to grab my attention if it really wants to be a game that goes down in history. All we can do is wait and hope for the best. It may well Nintendo have just made 50cc a lot easier for Mario Kart begginers.

Hmm... No announcements from Rare about some Banjo or Perfect Dark games on Xbox then...? All I've heard from Rare is that cartoon beat em up game... Still, that could be quite good, look at Killer Instinct.

List of X-box games....
okay its darn good but I would buy it for halo 2, halo, PD2 even if PD didn't amaze me but most of those i can get on the pc with it's easy set up.
