Me: Hi, do you have Ikaruga in for the GameCube today?
GAME: Do we have Arcadia Skies?
Me: No, Ikaruga. For the GameCube.
GAME: Sorry, I can't tell you, we're a bit short on stock at the moment.

Bah.

Like hell you said all that - though it would've been funny to witness.

I don't mean to sound rude

But that reminds me of that Simpsons episode at the Comic Book Store

I cant say i go to dixons that often, its next to GAME where i live and they do better deals, and the staff at my GAME shop are actually quite knowladgeable...unless you by a game that you know they wont have a clue about (Shadow Hearts) then they just keep there mouth shut.

All they've gotta do is read the back of the game's box!!

If they interperate into their own words, and only keep glancing at it from time-to-time, any un-knowing mother would soon know whether this was the right game for their child's Birthday, and may even think the GAME-bloke knows what he's talking about!

I hate computer game shop staff type people (sorry anyone who works in SR, "the happiest place on Earth"). Purely for the reason that we're meant to be weening my girfriend's little sis off games so that she can concentrate on her GCSEs, but one of the reporbates in EB (who we told she wasn't getting a game because of exams) started going on about how good the game was so that she wasted her money on Enter the Matrix. Taking advantage of little girsl. Tut tut.

Well you'd still expect them to have a small piece of knowledge about the products they're trying to flog.
Would you buy a car from a man who knows nothing about cars?
